Yeh, I downloaded the HDTV version and just want to say, Dattebayo is seriously fucking gay sometimes. Just got done with my homework and thought "hey, now I get to see this awesome ep." Only I found it was just a looped song file that was 170 MB long....saying they'd never release it in hd format or whatever.

It was obvious from today's news post that it was a troll. They had said in an earlier release that they were going to use H256 or whatever it is encoding, not MKV so shut up about it. Now today they've changed their mind and it's Jesus. Sometimes they are a little too easy to see.

Anyway, good episode. Definitely going to .gif 21:20 and 21:25 up to where he slashes Grimmjaw. So sick.

My friend calls me crazy because I've considered the last few bleach episodes pretty dry. The last "good" one I found was the first Grimmjow fight, but tonights episode blew me away. 166 was just amazing, and the end left me wanting more. I've been waiting for this episode for a long time and it was better than I had hoped for. 10/10.

Honestly I was expecting it to drag out for an episode or two because the fights took a while in the Manga but I'm quite glad at the pace they set with Grimmjaw releasing right off the bat. Excellent episode!

That really was a great episode, haven't felt so satisfied after an episode in a little while. Lots of action + good emotion is a great change from the last few fights.

As good as this episode was, I'm more impressed with the music they used as well. With the exception of the end of the Byakuya fight, every battle seemed to use the same repetitive music. Was nice to see them add something new this episode to make it feel more epic.

I agree. Whilst I do think the tunes used throughout the series are good, they do get repetitive, and something a bit more dramatic in this episode was a nice touch.

Wow. So I'm really surprised. This episode was actually superfucking awesome. The fight music they used in the first half with the main part of their fight was so awesome. The Nel/Orihime parts were real sweet too, and when Ichigo caught Grimmjow and sliced down on him at the end... man, that was epic. "Sorry, I can't take anymore injuries." Grimmjow is all like.. "Fuck."

Either way, best episode I've seen in a while. The quality was outstanding. I wish all episodes were like this. =[

Also, the Shinigami Cup Golden = WIN. Yachiru is one of my favorite characters by far. Love her nicknames for everyone and how she took those pictures. Ken-chan's hair seems to be in the way, rofl.

the only thing i didnt like was the zoom in on the back of ichigo's head and then orihime's eyes back and forth was a little overdone.

It's just made out of rocks lol, hardly the same place. Especially not since when they were shown in that place they were holding weapons.

I'm really interested to see how Urahara did all this stuff, getting Mayuri out of special detention is really interesting. Also, the fact that he remained out despite Urahara being kicked out of SS is even more weird. I can't wait for next weeks

It's possible Mayuri ratted Urahara out in exchange for re-entry into to Gotei-13. We don't know the full extent of what happened Urahara got kicked out. It's possible some of the stuff we think we know isn't completely true. Should be cool to see what happens next.

Well when he said no one could leave.. I'm sure he means no one can leave and still stay in the Soul Society. He didn't stay there obviously, as he went to the real world and all. I can see how Mayuri plays a role in Urahara's downfall in the Soul Society, but instead of ending up in the Maggot's Nest, he left the Soul Society with Yoruichi in tow. Just a hunch is all.
