Meh.

I don't really care about any of the fights left besides a very few select characters and their bankais. Though the Soi Fon fight so far is pretty bad ass. More interested in the back-stories to everything. The Quincy baddies had maybe an eighth of the character development and suspense the Espada did, and are nowhere near as interesting.

Flashbacks usually mean death and yeah that's about the time that the espada had theirs.

Remember that Hitsugaya had just "completed" his bankai before the quincy attack, so he could have surpassed him by then (Shonen fashion).

I actually really liked that part of the chapter. Was great to see someone criticize their enemies for being too stupid to share information. "Congratulations, you figured out how to beat me! Too bad you didn't tell any of your allies because you're a moron.."

Nigs in Bleach spend way too much time criticizing each other's deficiencies instead of actually wrecking shit.
