So I couldn't really tell from the Panels, but did all the captains that had their Bankai stolen just essentially (temporarily) get Bankai 2? Looked like Hitsuyaga's Bankai had a different form, and he himself seemed partly hollowfied.

Better hope it makes him strong enough to take on Fire dude, since there's no one to take old man's Bankai back..

We've never seen his bankai in its completed form before. He finished it after Aizen, and had it stolen before we saw it.

I'm pretty sure that was just the full flower form of his bankai which he didn't complete till little before getting it stolen(some luck).

Oh ok thanx! So he's just got his normal Bankai fully formed with a power boost from Hollowfication. I wonder why they keep trying to paint it as a "hollowfied bankai" (i.e. the manifested Bankai itself hollowfying) rather than "hollowfication while in bankai" (i.e. the captain hollowfying and the Bankai remaining the same). Just a translation problem?
