What will happen is that Ichigo will start beating Bach, who will then use Yama's bankai. Yams will appear as one of the skeletons in flames and will take his bankai back, stating that Bach made a huge mistake since Yams can use his bankai as long as he has the black pill and a body to touch it with.. leaving Bach with no choice but to use ultimate vollstandig by backstabbing the other Quincy and taking their power as his own. Ishida will be saved when Ichigo kills Bach and uses the Quincy power of friendship to bring him back to life.

Unfortunately, Yama's bankai's undead ability is stated to only bring back those killed with Ryujin Jakka's flames. Bach killed Yamamoto with either his arrow sword or normal arrows.

Doesn't really matter since any given one of the Quincies is stronger than Yama.

Should be interesting to see what happens now that all the Quincies just went Super Saiyan. We haven't seen what IceBoy's "fully completed Bankai" can do. We haven't seen what WolfDude's new bankai (with more armor..?) can do.

We haven't seen what.. Oh nevermind Soi Fon is just terrible.

Looks like Soi Fon's robot is still alive though, so either she'll have to come up with something new or we'll probably get to see someone else show up soon.

Dunno if stronger or not, but the fire quincy stated they all survived Yamamoto's bankai thanks to his flames.

Anyone remember the Numeros fight in Kakura Town? It's essentially the same fight, but re-written slightly to fit the current enemy. Numeros come and kick the shit out of Hitsugaya team (Bankai stolen and used again the captains, getting the shit kicked out of them), then to the Hitsugaya team using Limiter Release and fighting back, (Captains get bankai back and immediately fight back harder), to Hitsugaya essentially one-shotting Shawlong in ice prison (Hitsugaya one shots Chang Du in ice prison). Hitsugaya passes out immediately after Shawlong victory. (Hitsugaya passes out immediately after Chang Du victory). Everyone else has thier limiter released, but still scrapes narrow victories against their opponents (this is already happening this way in the current Quincy fight).

It might not be as predictable to others, but I do find it funny how he thinks he can sneak those re-used ideas through sometimes.

If his flames were actually equal or stronger than Yama's, they wouldn't have taken any damage at all, but we saw them pretty burned afterwards. Time for more random numbers!

As Nodt, NaNaNa, and Bazz-B: 50 HP
Yamamoto's attack: 60 damage
Bazz-B's attack: 30 damage

Without Bazz-B, Yamamoto's attack would have done 60 damage, killing all three. However, Bazz-B's flames were strong enough to weaken Yamamoto's attack, so instead he did 60-30=30 damage, which left them each with 20 HP.

If Bazz-B actually had flames equal or stronger than Yamamoto's without Vollstandig, Yamamoto would have done 60-60=0 damage, which we saw wasn't the case.

I meant stronger in the fact that we've essentially seen them as immortal (even though they were pretty torched from the fight, they came back fully healed). Bazz-B also was able to counter Yama's flames while not in Vollstandig.

If we're following the Arrancar arc logic, we'll see several more chapters of team ups against the new powered up Quincies, until we finally get to see Ichigo, Kenny, and the others.

Yama is probably the most powerful entity in Bleach, it took Bach sacrificing one of his own as a decoy then sneak attacking to kill him, but sadly we will never know for sure.
