I'm sure Aizen is stronger, but to be fair Hirako hasn't shown his bankai yet.

Allow me to clarify: Shinji, unreleased, with his mask, was more than a match for Grimmjow. He faced Aizen, cut him, got his ass handed to him (only released, no mask, no bankai), but we're to believe that this Quincy could just one shot him?

It's like Kubo forgot the vaizard have Bankai and/or masks.

Where are people getting the idea shinji is down and out? all we see is the fireball or whatever closing in on him. Plus, didn't he say last chapter he was able to increase what senses he's able to control since the aizen fight? He's a shifty motherfucker, there's a very real chance he kept another sense control under wraps.

As for the Yama thing.. it would have made SO much sense if he would have written it as: Yamamoto's bankai is so powerful it puts a tremendous strain on his body and once he dismisses it, willingly or not, he is left weakened for a time.
