I know about this thread in the newbie forums, but this seems like a more advanced thread now that it seems to have been discovered.

So, is there anyone here that spams this particular Assault? If so, what are your experiences with the appraisals? Have you gotten a Divisor Ring? Or a rare/ex ring other than a Divisor Ring?

The latent according to the person that wrote that wiki entry is that your level must be a multiple of 5, making it probably one of the best rings in the game short of a Mars Ring.


After I read this, I got to thinking about the Aileron Mantle. Someone on my server claims to have seen someone wearing one, and the guy would not tell him how he got it. A quick search of various assaults shows that Stop the Bloodshed and Imperial Treasure Retrieval both grant ??? Capes that have never been appraised into anything good (or never by people that update the wiki, anyway). So does anyone spam these and have gotten something good out of the ??? Cape?

We've tried this 15 or 20 times and not gotten the boots or the ring. It's a good source of hi-ether tanks and ash clogs though.

If they're a reliable source, and the latent is in fact confirmed, then a lot of people are going to be chasing after it, myself included.
