Nope, there's no decent arcades in my area. Friend of mine had a JP PS2 we played Slash on. I'm hoping Accent Core gets a US release on a home console, but they kind of boned themselves with Isuka being the last US release. I enjoy it but most people can't stand the manual turning.

eh sad to say isuka is the sux imo. But then again it's a great party game with 4 people.

Gears of War, game of the year. Can't get enough of it. Yes campaign was short but anyone with half a brain kind of expected that. (Hello Halo) The game was obviously created for Live and it's awesome.

FF12 I reeeeally liked when I was playing it, got about 3/4 of the way through and just got bored of the kind of bland storyline. (imo)

And saying everyone likes Zelda is kind of a stupid statement. I know people who just downright can't stand the games. With me, I loved a couple, not so much the rest. Sorry fanboys.

And lastly, how could you say 360 is at it's climax already... seriously.

My 3 favorite games of this year have been Gears of War, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, and Final Fantasy XII.

I do not own a Wii so I have not played Twilight Princess, but I know it does look good.

My picks for game of the year would have to be: Okami, Oblivion, and Elite Beat Agents

FFXII was overated in my opinion.

Despite how fun Zelda and FFXII were, the story and music of Xeno 3 wins this round for me, and I happened to enjoy its gameplay too.

Xeno 3 > Zelda > FFXII

I didn't like FF12, at all. The battle system (with gambits, and without), the horrible storyline, and the fact that no character had any individuality really disappointed me.

I loved Zelda: TP and Okami, though. I guess I'd have to pick Okami over TP. Although TP was great, and was a ton of fun to play with the Wiimote, it really was TOO similar to OoT, and the bosses were pathetically easy. Okami's art style, the paintbrush, the storyline, and bosses were all impeccably done. Too bad Clover is dead
