Unless they're going to do the whole saga but start there since it's the earliest point chronologically, like how they reordered the Chronicles of Narnia a while back, putting what used to be book 6 in the book 1 spot (The Magician's Nephew).
Yes this is quite possible, however didn't they cover that already in Wizard and Glass?

I'm not 100% sure about this, but I thought that Roland and co. didn't discover the plot that Walter had started until after they returned from Mejis? If that is the cast then I'm not sure how they'd work the plot in.

On another note, how many people were satisfied with the ending of the series? It seemed a bit rushed to me personally; and if it did end the way it was supposed to, don't you think Roland would have made different choices along the way?
    Spoilers I spose:
I got sort of a Groundhog Day feeling out of it. He has to keep doing it until he gets it right. The fact that he has the horn this time around tells us it won't be exactly the same, and maybe this time he can save Eddie, etc.
I agree with the spoiler part plus we also don't know how many times he has already been through this. I have to go and read the books again but I remember something about not knowing how old he was. Not to mention it was an additional ending because SK didn't think we would be satisfied with him just reaching the tower.

The impression I got from the synopsis was that they were going to "recap" what we know from the earliest point that was written and go from there, with some extra filler stuff because we'd like it.

If that is the case, It'd be great to see the fall of Gilead and the real beginning of Roland's exile to the Dark Tower. It always made me wonder about how Cuthbert and Alian died, and the specifics leading up to those events.

If we are going to see some filler between some of the events that happened in the book, they better be written by King himself or else I don't see good things happening for this series.

Yar! I have this added to my comic bin at the local shop. Fan of the books, and of Jae Lee, and of 48 pagers. =)

    Can't wait.

And the ever more gruesome Walking Dead will hold me over for the next 20 days.

Very Nice!! Has been forever since I was actively buying comics, but with this and The Boys, looks like I have two series that I will have to collect. BTW, am I the only one who wishes he had stopped reading when Stephen King said "Stop reading here"?

I like to pretend I had stopped reading there, but tbh, if the pages were there, I would have read them. If it would have said, "go to this website and give us your address/email and we'll send you this thing" I probably would have been less tempted.

I thought for a few hours about whether to finish or not, and finally decided to. I liked the ending better than I thought i would.

I was all over that shit. No way in hell I was going to read to the end of the whole series and not find out what was in the fucking tower.
