then I went for a Taru and named it after the famous Gundam creator/writer, Tomino Yoshiyuki :

the amusing parts are my cute Taru bearing the name of one of the most pessimistic anime writer ever (almost all of his series feature massive death-ga of main characters), and "Tomino" being also a north italian cheese than comes in small shapes.
So every italian i play with thinks I'm a little sunny Taru named after a little yummy cheese; girls loved that, lol.

Iwakura is family name of Lain in Anime "Serial Experiment Lain" and shito seems Angel in Japanese.

I'm unoriginal, Vigilia's my RL middle name.

My parents got it from my great-grandmother Aino Vigilia and I have no idea what her parents were smoking when they named her. Aino is a really old and traditional Finnish name but Vigilia is a Latin-derived word (from "to watch", "be awake" or "wake, eve") that's commonly used to describe a feast that breaks a fast at the eve of big religious event (Christmas eve, Yom Kippur). However, it's not a word at all used in Finland, more of a central European thing, I've been told at least Polish and Italians use the term and only seen it with references to either Catholics or Jews. My family's all pagans/protestants so no idea where it came from. And nowadays it's the name of many goth bands... I've been using it as my online name for years, always thought it has a nice sound to it, and it fitted my elvaan toon perfectly in FFXI.

This is my lurk account an also my very first character name from quite a while ago. The name Sorkura seemed ok at the time (Yes, it was noe of those sakura wana be names an no it didnt really suit elvaan...). An so as time went on i grew to dislike the name more an more each day lol.


An now im a TARU named TEITAN (Tie/Ti - Tan), like Titan but i liked it alot more with an E, i actually get quite alot of JP /tells assuming i speak perfect japanese when i cant. Go go IME an talking JP in exp sarch comment ! Also seemed quite ironic for a tarutaru :wink: .

Played Socom 1 and Socom 2 on the PS2... then the hardrive came out and I got hooked on FFXI... this is my first "MMORPG"

Foustian - The "Fou" part rhymes with owl. Had people who insist on pronouncing it Foostian.

My last name is Furst, and one of my teachers in high school purposefully mispronounced it and called me Foust all the time. Since a lot of my friends were in the class, that became my nickname.

I used to use just Foust, but that started to be taken in a lot of places, so I switched to Foustian. The jokes about me camping Faust were funny the first 2 times.

Me and my girlfriend chose matching names, LOL Although I started a few months before her. Translations are *really* rough but Kyomu = nothing, Issai = Everything. /emo /cut /wrists
