Differences in Chocobo "appearance"

Appearance
The appearance of your chocobo will change depending on the attributes it acquires. These changes will affect a part of the chocobo, such as its beak or legs, rather than change its appearance entirely.

I'm raising a Chocobo, and have First-Class Strength and Better than Average Endurance. I've notice that my tail-feathers are much fuller and vibrant than a standard chocobo, including others' raised chocobos. I'm guessing that this is the visual representation of his strength, but who knows? In any case, this post is requesting any SS's (or links to SS's) people have of what the "appearance" differences are on raised Chocobos that SE alluded to in their news post quoted above, and possibly some information on which ones are tied to which attributes.

I'll try to post some SS's of my chocobo's tail-feathers when I get home from work today so you'll all see what I'm talking about.

The fuller tailfeathers represent higher Endurance. If you check out your chocobo's talons, you'll also notice them to be thicker and sturdier than a normal bird's, representing strength.

Mental chocobos get fuller crowns of feathers on their head, and extremely enlarged beaks, but I currently dunno which represents Discernment and which represents Receptivity.

Thank you very much for the reply, that's good stuff to know. Also, at what point are the physical appearances determined, and can they be altered by altering the chocobo's stats even after they're an adult already?

I'm also interested in some comparison SS's if anyone has them.

Appearance is determined at Day 29, based on stats, much the same way Color is determined at Day 19. Chocobos that don't meet the stat requirements or reached day 29 prior to the Appearance patch don't get the upgraded looks.

I believe the "floor" for the updated looks is having at least "Average" in their associated stats.

My choco, it has the high strength legs/feet but the normal tail (it got sick and endurance didn't go up in time). High Discernment grants a bigger beak, if nobody posts a picture of one I can bug my LS, I know one person has a green choco with the big beak.
