I understand you need 25 points to rank up from one rank to other and that each new one you do and win is 5 points and a repeated one is 1 point. however i was wondering if i was PFC would the ones i repeat from PSC give me one point too? Also what if i do one i havent done from PSC before will it give me 5 points toward ranking up from PFC to SP

Repeat of previous rank also count toward your 25 ranks. You could rank up to level 7 spamming only level 1. If you are doing it for the first time, it will give you 5 points as far as I know (it never happened to me, but I'm pretty sure I read that a few times)

Winning an assault you havent won before gives you 5p.
Winning an assault you have won before gives you 1p.

Rank of the assault isnt relevent.

I got turned off from that one when I did a run where half of the rat guys lied to me. One guy said to the east, the guy next to him said to the west. One said that he was close, the other said that he was far. It was a huge load of crap. >_<

Back when I was that rank, Lamia 13 always gave me decent AP for minimal amount of work. Though I haven't done it since the AP adjustment, so I don't know if its still as profitable for a 3-person run compared to others.

I do lamia13 with 4 people for 1k each run, blu makes it stupid easy

It's also a nice place to use/skillup secondary weapons. Those BLU and WHM beastmen are cake as long as you silence them and keep up on the occasional Firespit spammage.

ED for Assault n00bs, Preemptive/Golden Salvage/Lamia13 otherwise seem to be the biggies called for when I'm in Whitegate.

What's the best way to get assault point in every area. One that doesnt involve retarded setup. I listed the one I think are worthy of the tag, but am I missing any?


Lebros: Apkallu breeding, 1300 with 3, easily completed in 12-13min

Mamool: People say breaking morale, but is it possible to get high score every time? Any strats? Double agent seem easier for a 1100-1200

Leujeuam: Counting sheep, 1166 with 3 (ore is way too random, and rabbit one with 3 is kinda hard if you want all the point?)

Ilrusi: Lamia 13 (1200 points) with 3 dispels ? or 1 melee and 2 mage with dispel. Searate salvation is pretty easy if you have one person who know the way and bring all 5 at the same time for 1200 points

Periquia: Defuse the treath, 1300(?), easily done with 3. Building bridge for 1200 is easy too if people dont suck.

Defuse the threat is actually variable points depending on how many you successfully defuse. There are 15 mines total, getting more than nine will net you more points than Counting Sheep (what my group was doing before for easy Salvage points), and all 15 gives each person 1600+ (3-person group).

I do it with 3 people: BRD/WHM, BLM/RDM, NIN/RDM, for 1200 each. Just DoT / Gravity him, NIN nukes with tools while kiting and holding hate; pretty easy.

Worst I've ever had was three or four wrong guesses, on our very first run. Since then, I don't think we've missed more than 1 (oh noes -33 points). But now I've got my gages so I really don't care anyway :D
