c-you dont need to make posts about how to duo it
Because sitting down in the same room with my fiance, running to the BC with 2 orbs and taking what drops shouldn't take more than an hour. Most times having a friend/LS member get/buy their 40cap gear, get their orb, etc you're already at an hour just waiting for the third person to be ready. Also 2 12-13 minute runs are going to take less time than 3 9-10 minute runs if you want to talk about run times.

It's also nice to be able to say instructions back and forth without Vent or lag or garbled mic connections and, again, being able to duo 2 runs whenever we're interested and be done with it in an hour or less. I know it works with 3 and I know it's more efficient gil-wise per run with 3 but if it can be done well enough with 2 we're more than willing to shoulder the extra risk to make things simpler.
yeah, but what if you want to do two runs ?? (and by the way, it doesnt take 9-10 minutes with 3 ppl, unless you get unlucky with breakgas, takes like 7)

Assuming 20 minutes travel time to get from whitegate (assuming you HP there) to jeuno to horlais, assuming 2 minute prep before first run, and assuming 5 minute prep between runs.
    2 people:
    20 + 2 + 13 + 5 + 13 + 20 + 2 + 13 + 5 + 13 = 106
    3 people:
    20 + 2 + 7 + 5 + 7 + 5 + 7 + 20 + 2 + 7 + 5 + 7 + 5 + 7 = 106

    RUHROH
So if a trio run takes less time than what I'm used to (and I can certainly see that happening if there are 0 Breakga problems or multiple HP regens from the big eye) and we decide to do something we don't normally want to do (multiple orb trips) AND the third person is up and ready to go immediately after we ask them/are scheduled (which is, I think, a stretch, everyone knows to schedule something at 6PM if you wanted to start at 7:30 originally) then it takes the same amount of time to trio 6 runs than duo 4. And duoing 2 runs is still faster than trioing 3, under those same optimal conditions? I mean, I understand where you're coming from in terms of speed and safety, but I already knew that and I'm not sure why you need to strawman to make a point that I think everyone is already in agreement on.

For doing 4-6 orb runs back and forth in a marathon session, yes, trioing is faster and I have no problem finding a third for those kind of things. But for those times where we're bored and have nothing else to do, it's nice to know that we can take an hour or less and roll the dice twice then go back to doing whatever.

Oh yeah /RDM all the way, /BLM is pretty pointless, thought I put that in my original heh.

NIN/RDM works well in 01a solo'ing hippos too. Evasion setup, backwards tank with wheel, only 1 TP move per fight. Could do my empress in an hour easily but the cost of tools was rough at times.

You're comparing the prep time of an 18+++++++++++ man event against the time it would take to get ONE person...would you like me to hand you a box of straws ?

if you are going to duo its a must that both sub /whm for paralyze. also idk if the small eye will resist gravity as much. however i can see that you might run into problems when the rdm has to doulbe back and could catch a breakga resultin in a wipe. easiset way to solove this i think would to have 1 nin and either a bst or smn to kite the mobs

Karl Rove is recently quoted as saying in the Washington Times: "Why NynJa doesn't have a 'huge fag' custom title is one of the great mysterties of our time and may stay unsolved for decades, if not centuries."

nin/war in 01b, just bring echo drops and remedy ointments. I did it from 47-51 or so, then the xp dies.

I've duo'd this bcnm a couple of times as nin/blm, my friend coming as rdm/dunno.
Usually tanked both small eyes as nin while the rdm kited the big eye. I would recommend nin/rdm though (I was just too lazy to level), since the eyes can have some lucky hit-streaks and a drain can really set you back.

We lost 1 or 2 times, but it's doable.

    NIN/BLM gives you warp.
