Protected Aria cannot be acquired in game at this time.

And even with two "Resist Charm" items on, you'll still end up charmed most of the time.

Last I recall, the "Resist Charm" effect from items, namely Merrow No. 17's Locket were impressively potent. Thus, perhaps, two incredibly easy to obtain items might (if anyone actually tries) help significantly against Long-Armed Chariot. Am I really incorrect in this assumption?

So many resist charm gears were discussed in this forum. My jp friend told me they beat the boss with 17 people. When i asked, how do they handle the charm, he said {Run Away!}x3. I am pretty sure there was someone, if not on this forum that mentioned you can outrun brainjack. However if we are talking low no. of people for Salvage Boss than probably zerg+zombie method is the best unless you want to spend time gathering those resist-charm gears just for the Boss. I haven't really tried to outrun the LAC, but our max no. of ppl for Salvage is only 12 and everyone is too lazy to get the resist-charm gear. May be if someone have better method, rather than the resist-charm gear can speak up on this forum.

What do you mean too lazy? One is from the Auction House for like 50-100k, the other is just a simple quest that most people probably already did >.>

If you can outrun Brainjack, and if it occurs at specific time or HP% intervals, then (e.g. say it occurs every 20% HP) perhaps straight tank from 100->81, then kite until it wastes its Brainjacks, then straight tank to 61, then kite again, then tank until 41, etc.

If the move is predictable, then people can prepare for it. Imagine if Bahamut just Gigaflared on a whim, that BC would be impossible. The only way people can do it is by being able to predict and control exactly when that ability happens.

The sad thing is my ls people including me don't like to buy stuff for salvage aka too cheap @@. For the quest, they are not really into it, only a few ppl done it. Sad sad sad.

You know it only takes 5k Assault Points to buy the Ring, and you can complete the quest for Neckpiece with 1 Merrow Scale, only 1k gil on AH >.> http://www.ffxiah.com/item.php?id=2146&sid=9 So the quest only takes 5 minutes, and baiscally free. Just tell everyone do the quest while you're waiting for everyone to gather lol. Usually everyone just stand around chatting anyway for 30 minutes while waiting for people.

You have never known my ls people, unless you can make 100% resist rate or make it mandatory to have the items or gears, they won't do anything about it.(this includes me >.>)

Sounds like a problem for your LS then. If that ends up being a viable strategy to win reliably, and you neglect to do it because your LS is too lazy, then everyone else will win and you'll be left behind. Not anyone's problem but your own.

Indeed, but the biggest problem of all would be lack of interest in salvage.
They still believe zombie zerg is the way to go unless we have miraculously get at least 12 people for salvage to begin with.
