My guess is that his leg stopped itching, i.e. he was finally doing something right for once rather than fucking it up (or doing something morally right). Every time his leg was itching before it was when he was doing something stupid.

Not certain, but it might be damage to the FTL drive. If Galactica can't keep jumping, it could definitely throw a wrench in their plans - and perhaps force the surviving Colonials to embrace the Cylons since they would have the only functioning warship.

Yeah this, I think it was stress fractures in the engine room (wouldn't mean he'd get sucked into space but certainly not good for the ship!). Galactica's starting to literally fall apart, not just figuratively, personell-and-politics-wise Next week should be epic!

BTW I think it's cool I can watch the new eps here in Australia before PSTers have seen it, lol. Thanks rapidshare uploaders! ^_^b (If I were to wait for them to come on TV here, it'd probably be 2-3 years and the show would be on late night at a stupid time :/ )

This week's episode is probably the best I have seen. Love the plot lines and constant surprises.

Gaeta said at the end, "It (the itch) stopped." Any guess on what it symbolizes?

I think its his conscious. Gaita was racked with inner turmoil ever since he unknowingly assisted in murdering humans back on New Caprica (see the web episodes). His entire existence since then has been him denying what happened and the role he played, and holding a hatred for the Cylons and Baltar in its stead.

At the end of this episode he finally felt he atoned because he was paying the price for what he did. Thus the "reckoning," he was finally making amends for the role he played on New Caprica instead of running from it.

His leg was always in pain, whether he was fucking something up or not.

The moment the pain in his leg stopped was the moment he finally found peace, which is something he hadn't known since the events on New Caprica.

Based on the timeline of how things happened that Ellen/Cavil were talking about Daniel would probably be too old to be anybody we would know right?

Nevertheless, the whole Zak Adama theory could work since she said Daniel was an artist and Zak wasn't a good pilot, didn't belong in the cockpit according to Kara... Also, if it is someone we know its interesting that they have killed off every major human (Dee, Zarek, Gaeta) that wasn't in the Last Supper picture, leaving I guess Cottle?
