- Opera house was just a fucking metaphor for the ship, and the entire vision thing was nothing more than walking Hera to the damn CIC? Come on...
- Starbuck... first of all, how did her body get to the first earth? She and her ship were angels/ghosts/illusions? wut? No real closure either.
- GOD DID IT! Ffs, what a weak way to explain away everything. I know the show has always had a mystical side, but you'd think they could come up with something more detailed than "god and angels did it because they were bored"
- Why would they abandon absolutely everything and settle down? I can see abandoning their ships etc, but all technology? Medicine? And how do the writers expect us to believe that no one in 38,000+ people disagreed or hid some tech or passed any advanced knowledge down to their children?
- Finding our earth was fucking cliche.

It could have been worse, but still... pretty disappointed.

This is what bothered me the most about that ending. To me, the Opera house/Hera sub plot was the main focus of the show. What the story was really about... And then it turns out it was all irrelevant.

Can't really say I dug it. They could've nixed all the modern day crap and focused more on fleshing out some of the loose ends or just have done some things better.

I will admit, going into the finale I was really hoping that they wouldn't actually say that "God did it." But for now I'm letting it slide because I like how the characters ended up.

What a finale to the best show on tv!

Some corny stuff showed up indeed, but worked towards a satisfying ending. (could really have skipped the last few minutes..)

Some stuff we're magical
- Centurions smacking away at eachother <3
- The Adama/Roslin scenes at the end whenched my heart into a bleeding pulp.
- Baltars' "maybe I'll be a farmer" also brought a tear to my eye, finally baltar has found peace.
- Chief got his revenge.

So say we all!
