Too bad the product is going to continue to suck if it sells, no matter if I buy it or not. Nintendo has no reason to make them better if they sell already and thats the problem. It's almost as dumb as the latest EA sport games which have not a single difference(sometimes even less) than their previous editions... they will continue to suck because they sell.

If each NES game was 1 dollar and each SNES game was 2 or 3 dollars(cheap like Apple's iTunes formula), then it wouldn't be so bad, but it's retarded they want you to pay so much for 10+ year old games that could take someone an entirety of 30 minutes to get 10 of and an hour to get 20 of for free. Bringing up "its illegal" thing is crap. No one is getting fined or going to jail for downloading and playing roms. Comparing a free online service(emulator) to a big-name console maker is mind-blowing. If these guys can do it, so can Nintendo.

What makes matter worse: (lol)Reggie has been quoted saying there would be new improvements on each game. Trailers for the Wii/VC show players using motion sensor to make Mario jump(oh shi- can't do that). Instead of coming out with Mario All-Stars, they are going to release each Mario one-by-one. US is getting dicked in the ass on releases, and even including Japan, the should already be like 100+ games ready for download.

VC is balls. It's balls when you compare it to PSP's emulator and Xbox360's Marketplace, it's balls when you compare it what it was suppose to be, and it's balls when you compare it to a 30 minute session on your PC. And its going to stay that way unless consumers stop being so damn blind.

PS. Has the Wii been hacked yet? I heard it was, but that turned out to be a false claim.

You have to admit that brp has a bit of a point. Granted I don't think the VC is completely worthless, that may be a bit extreme... being able to play games on your TV rather than a computer monitor has got to be worth something. But you know when I first heard about the VC, the first thing that shot through my head was how badass online play would be, and was very disappointed when I found out it wasn't included.

At this point I'm having a very hard time determining which games are worth me spending money on, considering I already own quite a few of them in other forms, and paying for them on VC isn't going to offer me anything that I don't already have.

Ok you compare it to XBL Arcade, and PSP download service. As far as I can remember not one good playstation game has been released for the PS download service thingamagig.. so that takes that one out of the list.
And name 3 XBL Arcade titles that stack up to Castlevania IV, Mario 64, and LTTP. Every day on XBLA I go on there to try and a find a game I like and they are all gimmicky puzzle games. Now don't get me wrong, Hexic HD is fun from time to time, but I don't want to pay 12 dollars for Tetris (Lumines Live).
I would rather pay 8 dollars and play the Zelda game which laid the groundwork for OOT and TP. Good luck finding a cart of LTTP for less than 20 bucks. I would pay for a cart that I'll never have to blow on, and will be guaranteed to work every single damn time I go on that channel on my Wii.

If you're gonna bitch about paying 5 bucks so you'll be able to play a nintendo classic on your TV, with the awesome classic controller, on the Wii, GTFO.

No one's making you buy it, and i'm sure 99% of the Wii community will be glad to download it today. Like someone already said... if you don't like it ,don't buy it!

F.Y.Fucking.I: The PSP emulator sucks... Sony should be glad there are people that tapped into their firmwares and actually got out homebrews that are able to play any PSX games you make an ISO out of... because no one would even touch a PSP if it wasn't for that.

Cool, so i can go and steal a PS3 and a 43" LCD just because, to hell with order and society!...

1.- Is not crap, its illegal
2.- Said big console maker is also the one making games, when the people bringing you the free service can make their own games, then you can bash the big bad nintendo.

And yeah, don't like it, dont buy it, sure you can come here and post "hey guys, i dont like this because it misses online, its the same old thing i have on my SNES", but making your argument based on ROMs is just wrong.

FYI, many people don't have a NES/SNES/N64 anymore, so it's nice to actually be able to play these games again on a TELEVISION, rather than emulating them on a smallass screen like the various gameboys, PSPs, or even on PCs.

Check this out: Nintendo can do something incredibly crappy without mentioning PS3. The Wii isn't shit in my opinion, it has 2 good games and a handful of so decent games. It seems its getting only 1 great game every season, kind of like the Gamecube, hopefully that isn't the case. This isn't about the entire Wii however, it's about the poorly designed VC.
