Goldeneye, Banjo, Conker, Perfect Dark, etc are yeah, pretty well deep.
But Nintendo said they really really want to see those games and others on the VC; so they are working on it.. but who knows what will come out of it.

I wish Nintendo made MS a deal where.. since 64 games cost 10$, MS would get 7$ out of each sale. Thats a deal, and I dont think it's a bad deal on either side. MS is getting the majority of the sales, but Nintendo is still getting some $

I wonder if Nintendo will go as far as giving all sales to MS just to get those games on VC. Nintendo knows those games will sale, and if they only get 1~3$ out of each sale, thats still a lot.

I still wish they'd release DKC2 first, since that is about twice as good as the first, but I'm not complaining.

Eh, i like more the soundtrack of the 1st one, the best part of the 2nd is the furry rats in the first level >.> awesome textures

God I hope perfect dark can make it over here, but it's probably harder to do since MS wants to keep PD exclusive for themselves, and didnt MS want to do a VC thing of their own?

I dont think theres a real problem with the brosnan/broccoli aspect, more of a rare/MS thing.

I think a fairly good offer would be to give them 80~90% of sales. Out of any game I want to see on VC, rare games are some of my favs, and Goldeneye is on my top.

The Nintendo brass is working on it they have said.. I think that Goldeneye would be a bigger deal than PD honestly. Shit I'd pay 15 to have Goldeneye on the VC and Nintendo give them half.
And yes Seph that would be awesome, so would DKC2 online multiplayer.. I'd quit my fucking job.

A better deal for Nintendo would be a straight payout to aquire the rights to the game, since ideally the revenue from the game being on the VC would continue to flow in long after the deal itself was paid off.

Nintendo isn't having any trouble selling the Wii right now, with it mostly sold out everywhere and demand still really high. It wouldn't make sense for them to cut a deal with Microsoft if it involved literally handing them a neverending small supply of cash.

Viva Pinata which is an Animal Crossing - esque game ... pretty fun. Did you see the 2 big wigs of Rare recently stepped down too?

The problem with movie games and other games off of licensed IP is that the terms of distribution are very specific and restricted. Which means when you want to re-release the game in some different format or with any changes at all, you need to go renegotiate the contracts with all of the licensors. It's a huge hassle.

There's only like 4 360 games on the list, but whatever.

As for the original argument, VC is just great, but it's not going to sell a console for me. Wii games for the Wii are what sell the console, and they've been selling just fine so far. Even if it only has like 5 good games after 2 years, that still makes it worth buying IMO. (I bought a GC pretty much just for pikmin and Baten Kaitos).
