They just become the next consective chains. And often I will soft pull or purposely link 2 or 3 things if I need to get the mages a double ballad set up.

I usually have in search whatever event I'm doing. Doesn't stop the flood of people asking me anyways. Or asking me while I'm in a fucking party IN a dynamis zone.

I've even put

March = 15k Minuet = 20k
Ballad = 20k Elegy/Lullaby = 10k
Prices Per song, no negotations

Lower the amounts of party invites, but still doesn't stop them.

My search comment often reads:

NO EXP
Ask me to pt and get blisted

Still, the reason why some BRDs have a bad attitude when dealing with a PLD is the same reason people do not like partying with DRG or DRK: For every GOOD one, there's at least twenty shitty ones.

DRK and DRG are much easier to fuck up than WAR or MNK. If I played DRK wrong, even with the good gear I have, the damage would suck and/or I would die. If you play WAR wrong... How do you play WAR wrong?

Lvling brd or rdm makes you an asshole you don't start off that way 8)

I lvled rdm cause i was tired of pting with crappy rdms like every pick up pt. didn't like the job to much personally thought id never lvl it ended up loving it especially outside of exp.

I remember being tired getting invite seeing 5-6 ppl to refresh 3 to haste and just disbanding. When u got a harder job to do ur not gonna settle for crap exp especially when u don't have to.

If you're in a party, and they're having trouble finding a bard, offer to go bard if they can find someone better geared/merited than you as your current job?

I've done this before on ninja, and the responce is generally, "I thought you were being an asshole, then I /checked you."

Eventually it will catch me though, I don't have a speed belt.

WSing at 150% every time, not engaging until the mob is at 80-85%, afking without saying anything, eating sushi when you can swing meat. The same way that one would play every other DD shitty, WAR is just a tad more forgiving.

List of grievances I have committed as brd

* Disconnected from a party that was fighting Boyahda robber crabs at level 62 after informing the PT I was going to do so. JP MNK was wearing Beat Cesti; hey, maybe that 2 VIT will help on Howling Fist?
* Conspired with a NIN to fake disconnect at the same time after experiencing the horror of being in a Bibiki Dunes pt with THF THF NIN DRK WHM BRD.
* Ignored requests from sushi-eating melees for Madrigal vs. couerls in Onzozo. The repeated cries for accuracy led me to click the red "X" button.
* While seeking as JP, told NA leader: {English}PT{Thanks for the offer, but I'll have to pass.} I've become a monster.
* Nearly disbanded from a JP party that initially looked promising (2WAR, 1NIN, BLM, WHM, BRD) but quickly degenerated into a Bibiki Bay party - all on account of the JP BLM not having sky. Ended up disconnecting whilst the party was getting raped by Hobgoblin BST aggro while fighting a dhalmel (how do you do that, anyways?)
* Disbanded from party in the middle of a chain fighting Robber Crabs and got a D2 from a passing LS BLM. This party initially attempted Teriggan crabs at level 54, but the crab quickly reminded the PT who was boss through a series of orange-hp-inducing Bubble Showers. PT leader blamed the failure on me for not playing Madrigal.
* Joined NA party solely to get rid of EXP bonus effect.
* Reminded PLDs, DRGs, THFs, and DRKs inviting me of my no-partying-with-gimp-jobs policy.
* Woke up at about 4 AM, decided to LFP since it's JP prime time. Got a PT, went out to Boyahda, did a couple of chains, and decided that I would much rather be in bed. /disconnect
* Balladed the melees and Minueted the mages on more than one occasion. Nobody complained.
* Joined a NA party with PLD as tank. WHM didn't have Erase. I got sick of playing Ballad positioning games with the PLD, so I decided to play C&C Renegade.


Despite all these grievances, there has been 0 reduction in my invite rate. The lure of Minuet and Ballad is too great, I suppose.
