sorry for thinking people should put in some effort to obtaining whatever it is in game they want, instead as septimus has said, of them receiving everything on a silver platter

You see, some people have very rich mommies and daddies who instead of giving their children love and attention, substitute money. These children tend to become spoiled and obnoxious and expect everything in life to fall into their laps because they have no concept of work or the value of money. So they spend money on stupid things that normal people wouldn't because mommy and daddy will just give them more cash instead of a hug, and thusly we have fish botters in Batilla Downs.
Is that simple enough?
You do realize that there are farmers that sell currency for every online game ever made. Sometimes its not the game design's fault (unless you mean SE should be selling gil directly for money).

Funny you mention it, but a couple from my LS decided to go have a little fun with them, when someone discovered they have a trade bot running around. When a fish bot gets full the trade bot comes over and they trade all the stuff and go back to fishing. The trade bot them death warps and hands stuff off to a crafter then heads back out.Originally Posted by Terrance
While that is no new news we began spamming trade to them and were able to get a few thingsJust by opening a trade window i was handed a mythril sword and 5 rusty picks. my LS-mate was traded 1k, then a rusty pick, when she traded the pick back, she was given another 1k for it lol.
However, it seems they picked up on our little scheme and stopped trading us. Only if we got lucky with a trade when a fishbot came up and didnt pay attention to whom they were giving stuff to were we able to get any more.
Its also fun to follow the trade bot around killing all the mobs they are trying to death warp on. Forced them to run back to jeuno a couple times because there was no mobs to kill them.
I think I know what that update did. They moved Orcs closer to the shoreline and they are killing all the level one bots. Screenies in a min.
EDIT Here is a smaple
Flawless Victory.

SE is addressing a problem in a timely manner... WUUUUUUTTTTT?Originally Posted by Heian
This is kind of impressive. First the Selbina clay nerf and now mob repositioning to kill off lowbie fishbots.
Gee SE, see how easy it is to fight RMT sensibly?
Now THIS is classic!Originally Posted by Heian
Praise be unto quick solutions to RMT hackery. Remember, they are just going to move, so keep an eye on them.
Now why can't they just put a ??? in Ullikummi's room. XD
leave them alone!
they only sell gil to afford buckets of oil anyway, shit is expensive
Did they really just do a ninja fix to the roam areas? Or did you pull em over there?
A little mob placement tweaking and we can see dead RMT'ers as far as the eye can behold.
I like that plan. Maybe I'll go item fishing there, just to enjoy the comfy dead RMT bodies to stand on for cushions.
Anyone notice the zammites are in a frenzy on this one (should you enjoy watching ant nests post-poking)?
