MPKing the CGF

Well, I like to MPK the RMT any time I get a chance so when I saw this thread I figured I'd give it a go. Had to go farm those stupid oils which took me about 4 hours but it was definitely worth it.

So first I head out to find out exactly where they are. I find a few, guess the RMT have either gotten smarter or their operation is just smaller on Ragnarok.

After finding them I go pop some tigers and make my way back over to where the fishbots are and d/c myself. I come back to a few dead bodies and a small audience of JP onlookers:

Not really sure why, but every time I logged back in the tigers seemed to re-aggro me rather than a fishbot, even if I moved pretty far away and there was a tasty level 1 fishbot right in front of them. This made it kind of messy and prevented me from witnessing most of the deaths first hand. It was more like log out, log back in surrounded by more dead bodies. Also seems one of the JP's looking at the whole thing kept getting re-aggroed as well, so we both had to keep logging out and back in. Finally though, the beach was cleared so I went back to Jeuno to see if they were gathered around the home point like I've seen in other screenshots, and sure enough:

All in all I found it pretty easy, but it was kind of weird having an audience. Was afraid they were going to GM call me so I logged out for the night soon after taking the home point screenshot.

4 blm 1 whm 1 nin was this GS choice exp PT setup, and after getting beaten on lolphantom worm once we decided to start killing the diggers around the area.

Of course we had no idea the worms are placeholders for scorpions so, to are amazement, after 30 mins or so, a diplopod pops on both of us. GS attempt to zombieburn it and end up running out of luck.

I'm up to about 200 kills on Ragnarok, still no GM calls and they are making more bots every day. I'll catch that 270 pretty soon :D

Yeah, I had a lowly BLM friend of mine + a few JPs kill about.. eh, I dunno. We wiped the zone/sent them back to their HPs in Jeuno/Sandy about 5 or 6 times. So a good 150-200ish possibly. Did it for nearly 6 hours. That was after Dynamis/Limbus too.. ;; /cry

For the list of awesome,

1) Keep the fishbots
2) Update ToS to allow mpk of any player with less than 2 vowels
3) Give us exp when they die

SE should embrace community events like this and it gives the "make ffxi into wow" group PvP.

All you need to do is make those L1's PvP active.

People will use them to test out WS'es on. Finally, RMT's will serve a useful purpose- parsering damage. We can have Dragoons testing Jump-VIT builds and DRK's figuring out how many multihits you can get from a Guillotine...oh, and we can just kill the heck out of them.

Talk about your tension breakers.
