If the maint is to remove those items from B. Downs I imagine if they want to fishbot they'll probably move to Oldton, so get ready to flag the Bugbear NM quest and go crazy on them there. I used to see a few fishbots on the bridges going after the Moblin/Bugbear Masks and rusty picks/gswords but most of those fishbots became mining bots instead so who knows.

I got off my ass and went around and check'd them all.

The majority of them are using rogue/robber rigs so I am 100% certain they are not catching 20 black sole an hour.

The few that are using lu shang + sinking minnow combo that are catching them all have "Mog's Master" title, so there is no fucking way they are actually reeling black sole in without a bot.

I can't give an honest answer about how much gil they are making without spending some time there and logging their catch rate on rusty items, but it isn't that great... the sheer number (67 total on remora) has to make a decent profit. Possibly enough to slow down the current deflation trend.

6 of them had lushangs and mog's master and the rest were all new adventures totally butt naked.

Went out there and checked for myself, and there was a DRG in the full darksteel (I think that's it, the -%Physical set) with a Rajas Ring pos.exe'ing around standing guard.

The RMT said they make 100k(per char) an hour if they don't get MPKd. But they are not exactly beacons of truth.
