Kirin straight up

First of all hi to everyone, this is my first post here.

My question is, i know its possible to straight tank kirin and basically tp burn him for kills in less than 15 mins (i know even lower but trying to be slightly realistic for a first attempt at straight tanking) but how is it actually done, is melee hitting him enough to stop stonega 4, or are BLUs used for head butt etc?
