Yep, I sold it (along with other things I probably shouldn't have sold now that I read the bazaar FAQ...god dammit)

I understand that you need to trade a Dragon Scale to unlock hellwyrm which unlocks omega / yaizmat and whatever.

Possible to get another one through kill / poach / bazaar? Or am I royally fucked?

The scale that you need to fight hellwyrm is a key item from what I remember. I don't remember it's exact name at the moment though.

For real? That'd be sweet I'm not on XII at the moment but it wasn't in my inventory and when I go on selling sprees I get retarded so I figured the worst

Yeah, just checked on gamefaqs lol. The only thing that you can never get again that you can sell is that item from Nidhogg which doesn't matter since you can buy that reward a little later in the game.

The key item is from a wyvern hunt near that b. port town. (I haven't played this game in months, don't remember all the names. ;/)
