Does that actually work though? What do I tell them? Just that I got it as a gift and I don't have a receipt and would like to exchange for store credit? I guess I could give it a shot... but I certainly doubt it will work heh.

just tell them someone gave it to you as a gift and you already had them and wanted to return them. make up a story about them living out of state or whatever if you feel you have to explain why you dont have a reciept. ive never had them give any kind of trouble about any kind of return.

I understand there's also a limit to how many games you can do per year or something? How does that work, because I have 3 games I want to return...

Yea I did in Target with a shirt. No receipt or anything. As long as they are still in the plastic, etc, who would know the difference?

Also, I just called them and they said that yeah, as long as they carry these games I can exchange them for a different game.

However, do I have to do it on the spot? or can I wait with the store credit in hand? Since there's nothing that I actually want to buy right now lol... I might as well wait and do it at a later time when more games come out or something if it's gotta be right then and there.

Just tell them a relative from out of town sent it to you and you already have it, and opened the other one. And of course, those crazy relatives from out of town never send receipts.

Walmart will take back opened games as well. But you only get the same game in return. I did it with a 9month old Madden a couple years ago.

Walmart is the best place to return stuff. The employees at the one by my house are complete idiots.

My PS2 broke a couple months ago. So I purchased a new one from Walmart. Once I got home I just switched the serial # stickers on the back of the ps2's packed it up and returned it to get my money back lol.

lol... so you can basically take a game, exchange it for a closed one...Then come back a few weeks later and just get store credit for it, since now it is unopened? lol... or, can just go to a different Walmart store so they don't see you again haha...
