Technically Nanaya Shiki in Melty Blood is the tatari created by Shiki's own fear of what could happen if someone evil had his abilities (or something like that). Nanaya was the family name of Shiki's clan which was wiped out by the Tohno family before he was adopted. And that picture is probably a picture of the tatari version (just based on the eyes).

Also, what game is world from? I've seen that gif for years and never figured it out.

It wasn't blood, akiha shared her lifeforce with him in order to keep him alive.

The only thing that lays dormant in him is the Nanaya secondary persona that's triggered on life/death situation, which pretty much allow him to enter a mode where he can use his eyes without immediate backlash and utilize all the Nanaya style assassination technique.

Oh...and his chronic anemia I guess...

so I guess mixing their blood with demon family is kinda unlikely?

Go read Rakkyo, it makes you know the nasuverse more complete. We know Tohno, Arima families from Tsukihime, Kugamine family from Kagetsu Tohya, Kishima from recent Melty Blood Act Cadenza as major Demon families.
Rakkyo mostly cover all the other Demon hunter families other than Nanaya like Ryougi, Asagami, and Fujyou
