As a side note, I send an email concerning the Ulli situation through the comments/suggestions section once a day. I'd like to encourage anyone who still needs gear from sky and doesn't wish to pay the chinese for it to do the same. I send a polite email detailing the problem at Ulli and offer suggestions such as lowering the timer or changing Ulli to an Olla Grande-type spawn.

3:30 AM called EU POL they can't help NA

9:01PST AM, called NA POL, was connected instantly. That was asshat #1 who was a total tard. Had them investigate to see if thye can fix it, blahblah whatever.

9:20 called back for my wife's account, waited on phone for 30 minutes, talked to anotehr rep, who explained in more detail as why "Bad packets" is even an issue.(Or at least gave a coherant answer). I asked him about how long review takes, he didn't know, I told him what the possibilities were for the "Bad packets", he said that it makes sense to him, but it would be up to the GM's to review. I said have a nice day.

With all due respect, I could give a rats furry ass about botted subligar excitement. SE needs to not ban people for "Bad Packets" that "Make it appear as though you were looking for a cheat" or "Trying to dupe items" those are the 2 different explanations as to why "Bad packets" is an issue.

Or maybe you could've not been a cheapskate and bought a new router.

I got a program to cheat 3 months ago, I used it ONCE and scared myself to death. I was in VD, and looking at the map on it, hit my right mouse button and ended up at the outpost... logged out.. close the tool, never used again. That was 2 mass bannings ago.

anyone else confused by these two statements?

He is saying he thinks if he was busted for the one instance of using a tool, it would have happened before now, during the two prior mass bannings that he mentioned. Which is a fair conclusion to draw. POS users get banned because people report them and they get watched.

Not really. I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if they red flagged him then, and simply let him generate the company a little more money through monthly fees before finally banning him for PR.

that was just practice, it didn't count. he's really never used 3rd party tools.

Not really. His POSing could have flagged him in the system then and there. Really, he just busted himself, by making clear he fucked around with a hack once, it removes any bit of pity anyone should have. Game over man, gameeee over.

I doubt it. I highly doubt they have an automated system that detects irregular movement. If they did, they wouldn't need a "taskforce" to monitor the situation. People pos hack for extended periods before someone reports them, then they get watched because they get flagged from being reported. I doubt one instance would be enough to call for a bansticking. Not with the way SE has shown that they do business. I'm not saying he was right to use the tool, I'm just saying I doubt something he did months ago is just now being punished.
