I wasn't here to defend myself, was out for a bit, so I can't hit every comment.

I also included windower as a tool I used, does that contradict? What I had stated was that I d/l a program do claim, found out it could do some weird shit without me wanting it to, so I got rid of it. That was well before the last 2 bannings.


What put me on watch had nothing to do with that. I was camping aspid, and popped a member of another LS for POS warp across the zone only to claim adamantois with mug(Ironically the next aspid another LS had 6 members POS to aspid, but couldn't prove it). Then there was the KB that 2 people used POS warp to avoid meteor. This had people start to watch me for hacking, because our LS was claiming with thier bots down. So I was heading to that aspid, and popped at the OP with a goblin on my WAR, macro swapped out my dusk gloves then hugged the scenery to make distance between me and the goblin. With defender on I managed to zone with ~140 HP, I had a GM called on me, they saw I wasn't flee hacking and ignored it.

I would assume more calls about me since then, as I was busting bots everytime I saw them. At any rate, I wasn't using a program of this nature, and was leaving out the tool in my first post because of the time since it happened. I assumed it was long enough ago to be discluded from the possibilities. Thus "Banned without third party tool use".

Also, to be banned "For POS warp" I would have been told "You were banned for improper character movement", which was one of the listed things, thus I was banned without third party tool use. Why on earth would I say no tool use and include windower and a POS warp program in my list of things, the posts were ~10 minutes apart, it isn't like I miss spoke or forgot, I knew exactly what I had said, and do not see a contradiction.

After posting last I recieved a call from my phone company, they are going to replace my DSL modem with something not outdated by 3 years. At which time I am getting a new router. This should fix the problem with mixed packets. As atm I assume that when you a/f a person using your same PC to link to the internet it causes things to look weird to SE.

We shall see in a few days, as I sent them this info for review. The POL tec I spoke to, my phone company tec have both said it is possible for a router to mix packets. But they said it is usually ignored, I think that a focus on myself for catching POS warping claimers combined with my number of bad packets, cause them to hit my toon.


Anyone think that it isn't possible for a router to miss manage packets? Especially ones going to the same PC for the same program. Something like, My router sent a packet ment for then other toon, to mine. Like say when I walked a friend to aery, and was fighting Nidhogg.

At any rate, I didn't come for sympathy, I posted because someone who seems to have a decent grasp of games and software had posted, and I wanted to know why my system did this, so I can explain it to SE. And in response to his question about DCing back to login, has only happened on PS2 in sea while fighting aerns for DRK or DRG, I will just go instant logout, then hit enter and be back at login.

2 were banned, one for having the same CC info, the last has other CC info. I think that I was targeted because of 2 things.

1) I got other people banned, and thier friends were PISSED.

2) Our server has a group of RMT with "King" as thier first part. So I may have been watched as part of that group.


PS: Just talked with tec support, the nice gentleman said that he would "Send this to his supervisor and escalate your investigation" where the previous guy said "I will send this for investigation", when he said this new wording, he quickly corrected himself like he said something he wasn't supposed to. "It was already under investigation, I am just escalating it to my supervisor".

I also asked if there was a differance between people getting banned for POS/flee and "Bad packets" he said there was. So, it wasn't third party tools, it was a stupidly set up connection.

When you think about most of FFXI being server side, and that was thier big anti bot thing when FFXI came out.(I remember them saying it would be bot free because of everything being server side, unlike Diablo II) Add in all that server side info, with 2k players in multple zones of mutiple different processing units, I don't think there is any way to watch it all without lagging thier system. Think of what it would take to watch all of a laggy ass zone like Whitegate, or your average HNM camp(150 people at one spot waiting for a pop). Perhapse they flag a person, then watch for anything that looks odd, once they find it they ban them. While others could be doing the same thing, and never see a ban.

Just my 2 pennies on why me, and not others, and why some RMT and not others.

CN map quest needed no fame, and two of the monuments had a productive reward if you create a new character and pos warp the quest within 30 minutes. Now it has a fame requirement and you can only do 1 monument per day.

Ok. I can accept that. However I find it odd that they would detect his movement, and then let it go for two mass bannings, get him on the third, without ever having a GM confront him about it. Especially if he is being truthful about having not used the tool since then.

I had pos for a while about six?? months ago(before these monthly's started to happen). I got through the first two using pos/flee all the while, they got me on the next one, I was suspended six days.

Promptly deleted everything, but I must say I still fear getting hit even though I haven't used any of that shit since then.

Anyway, they don't get to everyone on every banning. /sea ruavitau anyone?


It was kind of comical when I got suspended though, I had just picked up the flee effect from one of the Caedarva swamps, about 10 mins later I was booted from the server. Moral of the story, using hacks is bad

Honestly, after the 'iron arrows in bazaar for 20,010' thing from the selbina clay hacking, I wonder if some of the bazaars around aren't serving to transfer funds from RMT farmers to RMT banks. Or from RMT banks to their customers.

I'm pretty damn sure they are. We have one bazaar out in Batailla that still has prices at last year's inflation levels. They would have to login after each maint so you would think over the couse of a year they would update their prices at least once....

He is saying he thinks if he was busted for the one instance of using a tool, it would have happened before now, during the two prior mass bannings that he mentioned. Which is a fair conclusion to draw. POS users get banned because people report them and they get watched.

I've seen someone banned months afterwards, and know the guy in question didn't use 3PP's. (Hint though: Don't let known cheaters who got banned use your account "to chat", lawls they did three months before you get the ban.)

The once-fers are simply lower on the chain of banstickings, simply because I think S-E kills the easiest to check (ie repeated use of tools) and then works it's way down the line for less easily noted ones. One use = flag. Flag = check for oddities. If oddities = weird packets + flag, banstick.

Lesson for today: Don't even fucking START to use cheat tools. (No, I'm not fucking talking Windower. S-E isn't kicking you in the nuts over Windower.) One flag can mean one or more account kills, no warnings.

Being curious and installing one is the equivalent to being curious about veneral disease and exploring it by humping a crack whore with enough plague to infect the Eastern Seaboard. I don't care how careful you are touching her, it's just plain stupid.

Syphur Syphyr whatever, was hacking at O-kote NM earlier in the day, thier LS heads to KB, and in order to beat it, they were POS warping and flee hacking away from meteor. I happened to see Syph, get stunned, then POS warp across the zone.


Lilth, was standing by me at Aspid camp, on the furtherst side of the place from where people AFK, and POS warped back to camp. Then, I had people in the LS watch her, Adamantois popped, she POS warped and claimed with mug. Fafnir that night, claimed with mug also. Next day, watched her at aspid again, claims with mug, called GM, 3 day ban.


You called a GM on me for "Fleehacking at aspid", in fact I asked Sinstarr to. I was at outpost, I ran to kuftal using the game geometry to slow down the goblin(For those that don't grasp this, it is called running around plants, so the mob chasing you gets stuck or is slowed down), making it with almost no HP, passing one of your WHM in fact, right by the zone. If I was going to fleehack, it would have been to aspid himself, and sure as hell not to save myself from death, when I usually end up dead skilling GSD on WAR with defender on, so why would I care if I died at OP? (How you pull hate like that, I still don't know).

Dnight, you do know I also went WAR/THF to aspid on 4-5 occasions right? The time I got aggro I was /NIN, but I have gone /THF to test Steel Cyclone with a bard and Angon.

Sorry to hurt your feerings, but this isn't VQ, this is Zion. And we have already killed more HNM in 3 months, that you did in Norahack or Kupo. Cerberus 5, Jorm, Fafnir and Aspid, one aspid, we watched for a week and moved ToD, then claimed without comp. Though we can't seem to claim KB, because none of our members are willing to POS warp/flee hack to claim.

How is it your LS always gets claim on an HNM when another LS is near wipe again? What was it, cure them and spam mazurka so that you are highest on the hate list?


And I didn't once say this LS doesn't use claim tools, what I said was that I don't. To compete against your LS, and to even have a chance at claim, an LS has to bot claim. I have SS of my request with sinstarr to random at HNM camps for who takes that day. So dont' play like you all have any credibility in the HNM scene, and come in here chaffing my nuts when I got banned for being stupid with my connection.

Our first week as an LS we claimed 3 fafnir and a Nidhogg iirc. You can see that here.

But yhen again Asyra, you are always right, we claimed nothing before a string of aspids and nidhoggs. But being 2/5 on NA time Nidhoggs, and 3/7 on aspids MUST make for me hacking. Afterall, we claimed KB 0 times, and no one can claim him if they hack.

Would all those hacks from me be the times you bitched about us killing slow with 10 people, on PURPOSE so Fafnir would stay in our time? Or the time we killed aspid with 7 members people and 3 dual boxed BLM? Or the naked adamantois fights, to hold him in our time? Funny thing is, we killed fafnir with 10, in less time than it takes your LS to kill it with 4 tanks and we weren't SCing because we wanted it slow. I even saw a shout in jeuno from one of your members about our slow kills, we have done 12 minute kills, but I made the LS hold back so that NA shells got more chances at fafnir/nidhogg.

1) I got other people banned, and thier friends were PISSED.

2) Our server has a group of RMT with "King" as thier first part. So I may have been watched as part of that group.

- Getting other people jailed and pissing off their friends.
Approx. 2,300 cases

- Usage of tools that circumvent game mechanics with respect to the timing of ability use, etc. in certain areas or at points where Notorious Monsters appear.
Approx. 850 cases

- Accounts from people that were previously confirmed to have RMT connections, or that had violated the user agreements but re-subscribed to PlayOnline.
Approx. 1,850 cases

- People whose names start with "King".
Approx. 1,100 cases

I don't see "Usage of tools that allow enhanced character movement" anywhere, do you? Doesn't matter if he was kiting it in midair if all it takes is some pissed off friends and "King" in your name to get banned.

I said I got watched because I called GM's on them and had a name similar to RMT. but ok. Still got banned for "Bad packets" so it wasn't flee tool, which as I stated, you can get banned for.

Oh and the Kupo I was talking about is the Kupo from Fenrir, Normatmunde(SP?) the LS known round the world for hacking dynamis, king HNM, and pretty much anything else you need skill to beat.

Notice that I didnt' say WHO did it, but he knew. Just read our LS member section about how this happened. Fafnir was claimed to GoV, GoV had darters and was killing them fine. During this, fafnir went yellow, and Kupo cast dia on him. Palidor went to the back of fafnir and SP. GoV CFH Fafnir before they died. Kupo escaped with people who were alive, we allowed CFH to wear, claimed with 12 people 0 WHM and killed in 24 minutes. Now who is it that causes problems at HNM again? Linkshells that get hate and spam shit, or LS that sit on the other side of the pit and chill?

Like I said, I used the same bot, had map open, hit right mouse key on it on accident, was at outpost. This differs from Syphur, who was KITING KB (While not there) had hate, got stunned, meteor started, he is on the other side of zone. But thier excuse was that someone else, bought a bot, used it on his account, without him knowing, and he WAS 100% innocent.

If you actually believe that as an LS leader, you are stupid, since I know you aren't stupid, you are lieing and allow open flee hacking/POS warping to win at HNM/Dynamis.
