you do know this list was for following 9/11 only right? they just wouldn't play those songs for a period of time after 9/11 in case it brought up feelings for people around that time. they play them now, and have for quite a few years.

My problem with this is not really that, its just that the extent that these people take just to avoid hurting peoples feelings is mind boggleling(sp?). I mean most people would learn to deal with their sorrow in their own ways and they certainly don"t need a gigantic hugbox to spare them the pain.

Edit: In other words i doubt those songs where going to be the ones to make them remember they lost loved ones, i think the fact that it was 9/11 was reminder enough.

I do think "New Orleans is sinking" by the Tragically Hip, to be inappropriate for obvious reasons.

it was released years before Katrina hit.
