Salvage Gears anyone?

I was critiquing his set for use on things like sky NMs and such for nuking, and he said it worked fine on puddings and dynamis mobs. There is a pretty large difference in resistance between a pudding and Faust lol.

Not everyone do sky ;p I know quite a lot of people that have everything they want from sky.

Wife's 5th upgrade tonight, Enlil's Tiara finally dropped for her and she's been sitting on the ingots, since she was next for it.

3/5 Marduk's, missing body/feet.

I'm still beating her by 1 full upgrade and 3 lv35s~

Does anyone else who does a lot of salvage get mildly annoyed when people use phrases like this?

With every piece we have upgraded getting the 25 to match it has taken more than 3 boss kills only 2 times. My usu feet 25 took 12 boss kills and my usu body 25 took about 9, but it actually dropped the first kill but was lost. Other than that, 3-4 runs max. Never waited more than 1 run for a 15, ever. And we are 0/60 on powderkeg.... If you lack a 35 and have the other peices you are no closer to having a functional piece of anything than a guy who made a homemade atomic bomb but who cant get any Uranium/Plutonium. I would never give a 35 to someone based on if they already had a 15 or 25 or both.

Not picking on you really, i just see this all the time.

Bolded and italicized for huhz. Just seems kinda silly to give a 35 to someone who doesn't have the 15 and 25 over someone who has both and can complete the armor with that piece. I mean sure, if someone has the 15 only and someone else doesn't it makes sense, but the 25 and 15? Then again, guess you must have some amazing luck with 25s seeing as it doesn't take you that long to get what your looking for.

Unfortunately not everyone has that luck, my group (and I'm sure there are others) seems to get bottlenecked at certain 25s, like Usu feet. Took us 8 months of doing LAC at least once a week after getting 35 boots to finally see the 25 drop to upgrade. And now we have 2 more 35s we have to match up and 25s still aren't dropping. Also haven't seen marduk crown 25 drop since we started (which makes me cry little emo tears).

But yaaaaaaaaa, I dunno that comment just seemed silly, but whatever floats your boat.

i partly agree with the 2/3 w/ no 35 doesnt mean jack quote. but i also disagree with it as i have read permas having problems with 25 drops and what not. i guess it suppose how much your perma goes per week and how lucky you are

Having 15 & 35 makes me cry... for the past 5 months. Alot of ppl take lolgote for , but its now gotten to the point of completing them just to finally get them over with for me :rocl:.

As for having 15/25 and missing the 35...been there and I'm there now on 2 other pieces, it sucks, but it really doesn't mean jack without the 35 unfortunately.

I think anyone who does a lot of salvage has a story where they had to kill a certain boss way too many times for a 25 they needed. But its the exception not the rule. A 35 taking forever *is* the rule and the exception is the run something drops.
I couldn't imagine having usu feet 35 and doing LAC only once a week, so maybe some of the difference in point of view has to do with how shells handle how they choose their runs.

My AU time runs have the problem with Usukane of getting the 35s and no 25s to match

We were very lucky with arra boss after the billionth time killing them and getting Usu Gote 2 nights in a row, we just need 1 more and we're done with those. We also are still killing Zhay boss because he refuses to put out Usukane body item, we have a whole bunch of Ea's Crackows and Jinpachis, drop the damned togi already ><

Our salvage static has the same problem with just about every Usukane piece except Togi. We did god knows how many Silver Seas boss runs, at least 15, over the course of a year before our first feet 35 dropped in Bhaflau. Then it took 10 (yes 10) more LAC fights to see the first 25, between which time two more 35s dropped, and we got our 2nd two runs after that, the 3rd person is still 2/3. Our first 25 gote drop was 3 days ago, while we have 4 people with the 35 waiting, and the only other person who might possibly want the 35 gote and has missed every run it happened drop in has had the 25 for months that he got tagging along with another salvage group when he had extra AP. Our static also got our first 25 head a week and a half ago (although another static member had gotten one previously on an outside run), but that worked out well because Hammerblow finally dropped 4 days later.

Meanwhile I have seen about 10 togis, but of course there is one person who has missed exactly those runs they've dropped, so no doubt he will be the only one present when the 35 finally drops from CC. lol

Since we've been killing Battleclad, and I mean every single fkn one of them now (15+ish), it has -ALWAYS- dropped something Usukane... Last time was 2 Bodies, time before that was a mask, before that a string of 5 runs of Bodies... Our fisrt was Body and Head...
