God no, the whole set is rubbish. I wouldn't wear full skadi for anything at all, not even unstacked evisceration. The "Benefit" of +5% to crit rate is outdone entirely by the fact I can pump more STR/DEX from my current set.

However the Skadi set does benefit from each piece being an amazing piece bar the head.

Hands - amazing RNG hands, great TA+Mercy hands.
Body - Great SA/TA body, great DEX WS body, unsure on RNG but I'm sure Osode is better due to 10 STR, heca also better for THF mercy stroke.
Legs - Best TP legs piece for THF hands down, +7 store TP means 5 tp/swing with my current daggers.
Feet - +12% movement! Unsure how well they fare for RNG, but af2 feet look better to me.
Head - lol, I guess it's nice for +6 ranged attack?

Full set together = you lose out greatly unlike the other melee sets where the full sets are decent/amazing (hi usu!)

I have a confession, despite my millions, that's an NQ sniper >_> I'm not fussed on spending 3m on +2 acc at the moment when I can spend 3m on a lot of byne/bronze/shell! or 6 dynamis runs. It'll be one of the first things I "fix" when I finish relic or get a huge gildump on me.
The reason I have an HQ sniper, that one was signed and gifted to me by solsovly when he quit FFXI.

Now? Nothing. It was a different argument for a different time. A time back when NIN was the job in it's prime, PLD sucked hard balls, and samurai was nothing but "yet another boring DD that has extra TP every few mins" rather than the powerhouse it is now.

That said, the fact he still keeps his SJ underlevelled makes me lol. Nothing screams "Look at me I want attention" more than someone deliberately gimping themself so other people can talk about them.
