apparently when salvage was first introduced rmt were offering to get people their upgrade pieces (for a fee of course). perhaps they were left with the pieces that no paying customer wanted and decided to upgrade. they would sure add some value to an ebay account, as much as they could sell 8-10M gil for? who knows.

really surprised no one has a full set of ares yet being its stupidly common atleast in our group, we would of had it if we ever did the gloves rampart in bhaf. I think my group has like 3-4 deimos peices drop before we even see some macha stuff.

I think since Ares is the DRG AF2 of Salvage, no one really goes for the NMs. Like who would kill 3F Rampart when you could do 2F Rampart for more effective appeasing of your group? Seems like 3/5 or 4/5 would be common enough though.

Black belt + Usukane should give ~20% haste not counting latent. Using the Utsusemi: Ni timer, every 1%= .45%. 20% would drop you to 36(45-9) seconds, which means the set bonus shaves off over 2 seconds, so the set bonus is greater than 4%(4x.45 is only 1.8). Using the other data, the haste is no greater than 5%, so I assume the set bonus is 5%.

To answer your question, fuma+bb+turban+haidate gives ~25%, which would drop your Ni to the same 33(33.75) seconds(I assume, I don't have monk leveled to actually test).
