Salvage Gears anyone?

I really wish I could do Salvage, but my schedule is horrible. I got a Freya's Mask in a short-lived Salvage LS back when the event was new, and it has just been sitting there in storage. It was actually the only notable drop that LS got.

English salvage groups on ifrit are waaaaaaay behind though. I see the shout groups when I go on my japanese midnight runs but I never see them during english prime time. Most English ls's on ifrit can't even farm well lol. Every japanese person I see does have an ares body though

Mine is the only English group morrigan's robe myself or any of my salvage members have seen lol. English ppl on ifrit need to step it up on salvage!

You must run with noob NA ppl then or just don't know about any of the NA groups. My group was 0/40 or so on QQTHs/QQAs. Plenty of NA people who farm the hell out of Salvage, we just don't get all the lucky drops some people get. My new group recently completed Morri Hands and Usu Feet though, with like 4 other ppl waiting on 25s to complete pieces. (35s we have that need to be finished; 2 Usu Legs, Mar Hands, Mar Legs, Usu Feet and 3 Morri Hands) I'll say it's been hard finding peope to do Salvage with on Ifrit but that's also because I dislike half the server. People here can definately kill zones with ease.

Please don't say Ifrit NA groups can't farm, that's just rude. NA shout group might be stupid and suck but that's normal everywhere. Shout groups are 90% nub.

First of all, I said MOST english ls's. There is a difference between farming a few nms and killing all nms in a zone. There are lots of english groups that kill a few nms in a zone but not many that consistently kill them all or at least most and then take on the megas as well. I've been doing salvage since January and been with over 10 linkshells until I took over my own which is doing very well. I have also been asked to help lead several newer linkshells and even several groups from major hnm linkshells. I'm not making fun of anyone it is just that not many ppl on ifrit are motivated to stick with salvage. I'm sure there are plenty of ppl on ifrit that could farm the zones very well and kill all the megas, however they just don't stick with it.

Also morri hands and usu feet are easy pieces to complete if you get the 35 drops. I've killed silver sea remnants with 6 extremely easily and farmed on the way up. And I was 1/200+ on my morri robe 35 when i got it and had the 25 for months before that. I'm not trying to claim I know everything about salvage or that I am even good at it but I do have a lot of experience with different groups and so do the ppl i run with both in my LS and my japanese LS. I have never met anyone who didn't think ifrit was waaaaay behind in keeping english ppl in salvage for the time required to complete sets. Hopefully, my LS and my friends LS that he just started will be able to change this.

I never said anything about doing shout groups, I just said I see them during japanese prime time but not NA prime time. Even if i did see a shout group I would never go on it.

Again, I'm not saying there are 0 decent English groups on ifrit (especially since I consider my group to be doing well for a decent amount of time now), I'm just saying that I haven't seen any English shells on ifrit stick together for as long as the extremely talented Japanese groups on ifrit who have multiple members with complete sets. I am also saying there is no reason for this since we both have the same lvl of skill and I'm trying to motivate more english ppl into doing salvage since I find it the most fun of anything I've done since the PC release of this game. To give an example, when I got my morri robe awhile back most ppl during NA primetime had never even seen one and constantly sent me tells, when I had seen a bunch (including 3 in my japanese shell) during japanese prime time.

In summary, I'm not saying english ppl are noobs at salvage I'm just saying i wish more would try to stick with salvage since it is very fun and you can actually get gear pretty quickly if you stick with it!

Another Arrapago Remnants done, killed every Nm & what did we get?! ....Nothing! Zhayolm tomorrow, maybe something will pop its ugly head there.

Also, does anyone have any info on 2f Bee's in Bhaflau? 12 Runs, 1,200 Bees later and so far I've seen 2 Nm's. 1st got killed & didn't drop anything, 2nd one didn't get killed because some smartass decided to hit the Rampart and killed it. I've searched all over and all I've seen is a few more pops on Earth/Lights day sometimes, but thats it !

So, any advise? Or is it just bad luck ;_;

Been farming Bhaf 2nd floor rampart 1-2 times a week for about 4 months. Have seen 17 NMs, 0 drops.

Then again, a new group on my server started salvage last week and got double drop on their first attempt.

We're the longest-lived and most successful Salvage group (to the best of my knowledge) on Asura, and even anywhere from 2-7+ runs a week doesn't guarantee success. Persistence we have plenty of, drop rates from some NMs not so much.

I don't mean to downplay our success in the slightest (we've got some damn good luck overall) but just "sticking with it" doesn't guarantee anything. Talk to Hammerblow, QQTHs, Powderkeg, Dekka, Bhoot, etc. if you don't believe me.

i kinda only do relax in and out NA grp runs because i really trust VERY FEW NAs on ifrit

not i hate NAs in ifrit, but dedicated + not-dumb people are very hard to get

have people /telling me "WE NEED DO MORE SALVAGE!!!" and ended up not logging in in time at all during runs make me sick

next person to /tell me "NEED MORE SALVAGE" i will yoma-burn-his-ass up with a lighter
