    ninja edit: Also i doubt vit rings > str for jump because even with most mods on ws people still notice higher dmg with str gear unless your fSTR is capped or something of that sort, from what i recall anyway

    I'll do a trial or two tomorrow to confirm this absolutely. Thanks for the math. It'd be neat if a WAR or MNK would try to obtain some crit jumps on rabbits.

    If this proves to be true, I'd bring:

    Af2 feet = 4 VIT
    Soil Ring = 5 VIT
    Bibiki Seashell = 4 VIT
    AF1+1 helm = 8 VIT
    Warwolf Belt = 5 VIT

    = +26

    Not bad if +26ish VIT proves to do 30-40 more damage or so. Wouldn't really need to bring too much more gear.

    couldnt this just easily be tested on rabbit hares? I dont know too much about if jump caps at a certain amount so not sure.

    edit: also just thought that str might be better for hares because if dmg does cap str would make it go higher but vit for more consistant damage on higher level mobs? Not sure on jump's mumbo jumbo

    actually, VIT_50% gives faster increase on base damage compared to STR for melee. even if you put 0.83 level modifier. The only moot point is whether or not the attack from all your STR gear can gives better boost compared to raw base damage increase

    Sounds like blu with cannonball. More def the better the cannonball dmg (throwing yourself at the mob).

    Yea I know, which is why I added cannonball in the second sentence so it wouldn't sound like i'm saying def is a mod for jump. Was just comparing how wamora's cannonball (which they throw their rolled up body) has a def mod, while drgs jump (dropping down on a mob) vit mod. Just an observation sir.

    Basically, but to further clarify it, it's more like an extra attack round in that in addition to multi-hit weapons, things like Double Attack & Triple Attack can trigger as well.

    Drachen Mail+1 seems like it would be a very good piece as well to macro in for Jumps since it has Str, Vit & Attack on it:

    HP +15
    Strength +6
    Vitality +6
    Attack +7
    Adds 'Regen' Effect to Wyvern

    Plus Mezraq also has 2 Vit on it as well.
