In point form: I keep hitting my chainspell macro on my laptop instead of my /follow macro when I 2box, thus fucking me out of a 2hr.
What's the way to failsafe the macro, by needing you to hit enter twice ?
/ja "2hr" <stpc>

/target <stpc> ?
Chainspell....macro?
But yea /ta <st> works but will fuck with your targetting.
/echo Are you sure you wanna do that?
/slap <stpc>
/echo Really sure?
/ja Chainspell <stpc>
but why do you want to macro chainspell? ctrl-j, enter![]()
Or you could do:
1: /echo HEY ASSHOLE THIS IS YOUR CHAINSPELL MACRO
2: /ma "Fake Spell" <st>
3: /ja "Chainspell" <me>
the 2nd line will return a command error after you confirm the subtarget, without switching your current primary target, and then fire your Chainspell (so long as what you put in for "Fake Spell" isn't a real spell or ability)
Well how else do you say really cool lines like "I MUST MOVE FASTER THAN LIGHTNING IN ORDER TO PROTECT MY FRIENDS, CHAINSPELL!" when shit hits the fan and you need to be heroic and stuff?Originally Posted by Delekii
Don't macro 2hrs, or if you do, put // in front and take 1 / off when you need to use it lol(when you know you're in a situation that may require it).
I macro bene
And it's just straight <me> but all my pallets have the two hour in the same spot, so I really don't miss hit it.
I stopped macro'g 2-hrs as well for that very reason. Ctrl-J for a mage doesn't usually bring up a huge list of JA's. There's like...6? on rdm/drk...which I think is my longest list.
I'm accustomed to playing on my pc w/ a gamepad though.
I 2box another acct on my laptop, and I'm not used to using keyboard commands, let alone typing in commands. So I had to macro it :\
I play with a gamepad too, and I honestly still find it easier to just CTRL+J for my 2hr. Whenever I've had it macro'd, it's always just caused problems. :/Originally Posted by NynJa
