The sale figures for the 360 version of VF5 are going to be horrible.Originally Posted by Mysterio

No one is buying VF5 for PS3 anyways. DOA4 for XBOX360 sold more in Japan.Originally Posted by Exoduso
I had actually planned on buying a PS3 solely to play VF5, but with it coming out for XBOX 360 in a few months no point really.
I went through the same thought process myself. As good of a fighting game that VF5 may be, there's no way it can justify a $600 purchase.Originally Posted by Krandor
Well, the 360 is at least performing better in Japan than the original Xbox. I think they're kinda warming up to it. This is something foreign-made in Japan, after all. Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey should help. Contrary to popular belief, there are Japanese that like games like Gears as well, it's just the niche crowd over there.
I just think its garbage that the fucking ethnocentric japanese cant support 360s. yea its american, but so the fuck what, its a quality console(enough to where you cant just dismiss it). I wasnt crazy about the first xbox, but it was still the #2 console last gen. Right now i think 360 is better, but im optimistic that ps3 will also be tremendous. It just annoys me b/c I suspect the main reason 360 is not popular in japan is just because its not a domestic product(much like our cars dont sell well there) not because its a bad product
does anyone else sense that sentiment from them
Since when are you this big PS3 backer? Your sig for months for "Wii Rocks" in stacked boxes of PS3s, then you go waste 470 dollars on one (minus the cost of a new PS2 since you said you bought it for that) and now you are this big PS3 backer. Give me a break dude.Originally Posted by Exoduso
It has been proven that games that are on both systems look better on 360 right now, on side by side comparisons.
By the way, I saw a review of this in EGM this month and it said PS3 onry, when is it coming to 360?
It annoys me too, but it is just that they don't really like the majority of games released on the 360. The japanese as a rule of thumb HATE shooters. I play Gears for a few hours each night with friends and I never once have encountered a Japanese player. Blue Dragon is supposed to be the 360 saver or whatever over there, and it supposedly is doing well.Originally Posted by Artful Dodger
He's already had a PS3 lol. I remember him posting some crazy entertainment center pic with it.Originally Posted by Po
I know that, but this was before that, what I was mentioning.
lol, chill Po. Matter of fact is, you guys can babble about how you don't want to pay for the ps3 bla bla bla, but eventually everyone will, just like they did with the PS2.
So yes, it's expensive, but when the game lineup will start shaping up you won't be able to deny it either.
BTW, WTF has Assassin's Creed been pushed back 4 months? (both versions I believe...)
I know I will get one, just a matter of time. I'm not making the same mistake I made with my PS2 (lolevergrace).
lol evergrace still makes me cringeOriginally Posted by Scythiroth
I tried to deal with it, and played it some even though it was horrible and all my friends told me it sucked until one day I just went insane and threw it into my backwall shattering it and ending the nightmare known as Evergrace.Originally Posted by kazen
I played it about 3hrs until i got to some castle, but then i got lost and said fuck it and put a ps1 game in.Originally Posted by Scythiroth
So I finally bought Gears of War and played it for the first time last night. Fun game, great graphics but OMG one thing is so annoying I can't take it....
Ok so you can invert the Y axis controls for looking up and down, but you can't invert X ??? Am I missing something? Is the game not completely backwards from how it should be?
Typically when you have a movement/strafe control and then a seperate camera control, it's completely inverted so as to mimic being a "camera" moving behind the character in space.
Anyone else notice this? Do you just get used to it over time?
You get used to it after a mission or two, it's pretty easy.
lol I never even noticed what you were talking about, I'm so used to everything in the game.
And what is the deal with this Evergrace game.. what did you do?
