I remember reading about a movie that made about $30 at the box office, "Zyzyx Road" or something.

Mariah Carey's Glitter - so bad it took less than 2 months to get it on DVD and hope people were tricked into buying it for Christmas.
Monkeybone with Brendan Fraiser....I remember it grossing like 2.6 million its opening weekend and thinking....yep sounds like about all its going to make - think it ended up with around 4mil.
Crossroads was the Britney Spears movie - not to be confused with the Ralph Macchio movie of the same name.
Oh and that god awful Surviving Christmas with Ben Affleck - that trash only took about 6 weeks to get onto DVD, again, for Clueless Christmas shoppers who could be tricked into buying it.
Cache - french movie that won a bunch of awards but was utterly terrible and deserved to be burned - After watching for the first half hour and realizing that they used virtually no sound - I watched the remainder on fast forward with subtitles and found that if the director couldn't make a fast-paced suspense thriller, I could at least artificially create it though it was still a boring 40 minutes.
Lastly for the moment - Unlimited Saga from Square Enix. The people who created this atrocity have hopefully been sold into slavery in a Siberian Coal mine for their transgressions against humanity - and then they add an FFX-2 trailer to the disc as if sprinkling potpourri on a heaping pile of stinking poo would suddenly make things better.

lol, that Ralph Maccio one is a stupid movie, but it has Steve Vai in it as the Devil's guitarist, which is pretty cool.Originally Posted by Varg

I'll buy a CD after I download it. Buying a CD based off one or two songs played on the radio usually ends up being a waste of money. Downloading a CD = permanent 'test drive'.
I loved Waterworld. It might have been a little overdone with the whole ‘‘smokers’’ thing, but the movie had a very interesting concept.
that larry the cable guy movie
Im pretty sure the Pluto Nash movie with Eddie Murphy is one of the biggest box office failures ever.
lulz
I remember seeing the trailer to Team America Police Force in some other movie I watched at the theater and thinking a total of 3 people worldwide would watch it.
I now own the DVD
