I am excited about 300, it looks really cool. As long as they don't take the same amount of liberties with mythstory(myth + history) as the writers of Troy did.

You might be disappointed to hear that it is based on a comic that does take a lot of liberties with "mythstory".

My nerd indignace was wakened by the fact that the guy playing Brock is a skinny little weiner. Brock was supposed to tower over Spiderman.

Im a huge nerd and I own almost every spiderman comic book outside the first 100 or so of Amazing, and own quite a number of them. The initial Eddie Brock character was a sleazy half ass photographer that tries to compete with Peter Parker at the Bugle. The reborn Eddie Brock is McFarlanes later take on the character, and im sure it was specifically to make him have the proper frame to support a kick ass villain like Venom. This makes me want to dig up that box and read about 60 issues of spiderman continuity lol.

The first two Narnia books really suck, i like CS Lewis but he is not that great of a science fiction author. that being said, The Magician's Nephew is hands down the best fiction book he wrote and i can't wait to see that when it comes out in say... 6 years lol.

I would also like to see them make his book That Hideous Strength into a movie.

Only the movie industry could fuck up a movie concept like this up? Shit, don't even need any actors for it. anyone who can run around and scream while getting gutted will work. All they need are aliens and predators fighting with a bloody and large body count. no storyline, much like the pc games.
