"I'm in labor!"
"STFU I'm next in line for <gear>!"
Honestly, this is rediculous. This sounds like a personal problem that she needs to work out. Don't trash video games and say that they're ruining lives. People ruin lives, not games.

"f that woman" If he wants to chose a video game over his daughter and his fiance that's fine. As you said though, he needs to grow a backbone as well as a pair of balls and say that then though.Originally Posted by Artful Dodger

If she thinks or he tells her the weight is an issue she should work on it. If she doesn't want to work on it, then she should tell him she isn't going to as well. Total lack of communication on both their parts. I mean seriously, obviously they can't talk to one another otherwise they wouldn't go on a damn talk show to begin with.
Honestly the only one I feel sorry for out of that situation is the little girl who has two fucked up parents.![]()
Though I agree that he should be man enough, and secure enough in his relationship that he should tell his wife whats up, I dont think his actions are normal.Originally Posted by Bethany
Even the most hardcore of gamers realise that they need to cut back and spend time with the person they married, and now they have a kid? Thats just out of the question, 90% of his time should be with the kid atleast.
If anyone picks a game over their own child, they have a serious problem.
I know a person that uses WoW to bond with his kids, his kid has a 60+ char and all that.
Plus, who needs to buy gold when you just have your children farm gold for you?
Sounds to me like he just wants her to leave. She was like "he sleeps on the couch because he says the bed is uncomfortable." It's probably uncomfortable because there's a big lump with no job in it.
Get that woman some vaseline
On a seperate note, Tyra looked good in her scanties.
Yup, because if there was no such thing as WoW I'm certain that he would pay attention to his wife. As opposed to playing gold all the time, going out with his friends, spending all of his time in "gentleman's clubs", developing a drinking problem.
Darn those video games, they ruin relationships!
Exactly, at least hes still in the house with that woman.Originally Posted by Septimus
I'm not getting the timing here.
He gets home at 3pm and plays until 2am (11 hours).
But his total playtime is a "full time job" 40 hours/week.
He's 15 hours over that playtime amount just on the 5 days a week and not counting the weekend (which is generally more time to play).
I lol'd when she said "it's not even real people, it's a video game", cue the pics of someone with a hand over their head /dissapointed, I seriously did that when she said that, lol.
It's a classic exapmle of "It's something else's fault that we fail at life, even if it is clearly our own fault" syndrome. The first step in solving a problem is admiting you have one, right? A lot of people don't make it that far, I think...
No, that was changed in the late 80's. Now the first step to solving a problem is admitting that it's everyone else's fault but your own.Originally Posted by Kenai

lol yeah, I noticed that too. People are just so stuck in their ways with the general stigma of being an avid 'gamer', it doesn't matter how immersive a video game's community is, you're still a big child because you're still playing video games to these people.Originally Posted by Eaglestrike

I honestly understand how people can become so addicted to online games. I know I would spend all of my time on video games if it wasn't for college and work.
It's all about the community, and how absolutely different online games are from single-player games, in my honest opinion.
I'd hate to be offtopic, but I'd like to comment on this fat=beautiful garbage. I'm not one to care much about physical appearances, as long as you leave me alone and don't shit in front of me, but I think people forget "fat" happens when you become a gluttonous whore who can't stop eating. I mean its natural, animals are born with the natural instinct to eat and eat and humans have reached a point where food is never rare.
What would be beautiful is some fat lady saying "I'm actually going to put some effort in my life and lose weight, not be a lazy savage beast of lard. That way I can move and jump like normal person".
And yeah, shredding install disks... lol.
lol'd. Yes this basically sums up the whole second part of that video. 285 tyra fan viewers clapped their hands at the guy for shredding the install CDs. 10,000,000 gamers online will now laugh at how much he owned Tyra and the psychologist.Originally Posted by Ryko

You know most people say wow he skip on his wife when she was in labor to play a game. But most people here would prob do the same thing. Online games are kinda ruining peoples lives but thats just cause how addicting it is. Most people say i can play 2hr a day an be ok but i say your full of shit!. But then again its not really most peoples fault there addicted to an online game because real life sucks. Were at war, people got nukes, most places hate Usa, an in 2029 world gonna end an there is ton of diseases out there killing everyone why go outside ? Thats most peoples attitude.
Wow lol...Originally Posted by gandorf
