Syl's a bigger slacker than me, I at least admit I'll put off an update for months... Syl on the other hand will play it off like she's going to make the WHM update within the next few days, and then 6 months later still nothing!

Which assures that the Syl WHM LJ update of legend will not be happening this coming weekend!

But in all seriousness I'm working with a friend doing some macro tweaking to get latent effect on medicine ring working full time for cures but with all the gear changes in one macro AND no loss on cure casting time. It's actually not an easy thing to do but it can be done and I want to get it right before I go doing any update because 32% cure potency is godly. :D

and cut me some slack ruke =( I'm finishing up my PhD.

Gonna comment here instead of anonymously on your LJ (I don't have a LJ) like I've done in the past because that makes me feel like a stalker. D:

Don't even try to melee damage Jailer of Fortitude. I thought I was being smart one time and went to sea farming as THF/DRK. I got 100 TP, had like 1500 HP, popped souleater, did SA+Dancing Edge. My HP went down to around 800, and even popped Flee right away thinking I'd be kiting for a bit. Then I notice it kept on running away from me, and my damage was a mighty 15 or something. So it's not even a matter of VIT or def, it just flat out cheats against melees. Oh, and posting screenshots of damage taken from Jailer of Fortitude while the Kf'ghrahs are still alive is cheating!

For Faranim, I think one of Fenrir's BPs is actually piercing damage, like Crescent Fang. At least that's what I think he's talking about in that screenshot.

What mode was JoL in when you landed those back to back absorb spells? I'm always there BLM, but I notice when it's in Dark magic mode, Drains and Aspirs go "unresisted" pretty much 100%. I mean, you get HP and MP back alright, but we suspect that it's actually gaining HP from the drains.

And here's a random question about a piece of gear. What do you think about Hades Sainti? I'm still waiting for one of the Bonecrafters in my LS to get the necessary smithing level to pump some out before I can try them, but I'm still not sure how much use they'd get. I'd probably use them on JoL (if I ever went NIN), Ouryu flying/sleeping, Jorm full time. That's just off the top of my head.

Always a good read though, thanks for making it.

lol yeah... My melee damage on JoF was absolutely pathetic, so bad that I just wanted to see how low I could get my damage. 1 ftw!

I'm actually not sure which mode JoL was in at the time, but thinking of it that must've had some effect on it because I'd be lucky to land just 2 in a row before.

As for Hades Sainti, I actually want a pair eventually. I'd definitely use, and they'd put me really close to like +50 enmity as my max. I'd probably be macroing them just for abilities/spells, but it'd be worth it. I'm kind of just holding out for the price to fall at the moment though.
