Fact clarification!:

1: Yes Ruke has played FFXI in class, though rarely.

2: Pretty god damned sure that Kei was not familiar with the classic!

3: Ruke was not actually drunk when he did that.
Note the almost perfectly spelled lyrics including the aptly conveyed "(thrust noise)".

Ruke drunk while playing FFXI= him running around Kuftal Tunnel naked and shouting random things.

Ruke drunk in RL = him insisiting he's not drunk and saying "I'M FINE!" until he can't walk 2 feet without falling and crawling under coffee tables looking for chips. There are other aspects of Ruke being drunk that I could comment on but I will refrain.

4: I will not be seeing Ruke this weekend so if you do not get a LJ update DO NOT BLAME ME!

5: Ruke is not letting me win. That's just the excuse he makes up when he is losing. :D

I think she meant that too, but I have the entire thing memorized... Along with a lot of other songs lol. For this one in particular it started with this decades project in 8th grade, and on top of a paper we had to do a presentation involving our decade on stage. So we all sang Baby Got Back. Syl refers to it at the beginning of the chat log, saying we should've failed the presentation.

I only did that last year in my Government class lol.. The class time was completely a waste, and I had nothing else to do to keep my brain from turning into mush from how much of a waste the class was. I often browse BG and other websites and stuff in class when I know the material, but I rarely log on FF. I think I only did that before to camp KA or get the time on it or something... But that was last spring, I don't even remember the last time I logged in.

That was High School for me, so I'm feeling rather dated with the whole "the song is as old as he is" thing.

Happened twice, lol... Both times it happened though it was from them noticing I was on BG or KI or something.

But, there's only like 3 people I know of that play at this college, most of the others here are in a WoW guild. I think even one of the FFXIers quit/took a break to join them in WoW. I was even tempted to join at one point last year.

reminds me of the time I was in EBgames and the guys behind the counter were talking about their relic weapons, I said I was in BG and they thought that was cooler than relics
