Happened twice, lol... Both times it happened though it was from them noticing I was on BG or KI or something.

Only two people I know of that play at this college though, most of the people here are in a WoW guild. I think even one of the FFXIers quit/took a break to join them in WoW.

reminds me of the time I was in EBgames and the guys behind the counter were talking about their relic weapons, I said I was in BG and they thought that was cooler than relics

it gave me a hearty lol

Bard in my shell was looking for TOAU in manhattan and some chick in the gamestop with her at the time was talking about being in limit break. She asked if that was the shell that successfully held AV for 30 hours. Chick said yeah, at which point the bard was like "wow that had to have sucked".

I dont think that was the reaction she was hoping for >_>

anyone else notice that we all look forward to ruke updating his lj more than we look forward to updates for the game?

then again, if SE's updates were as good as ruke's, kings would be instanced, CoP would be awesome, ulli would always pop unclaimed, noone would know what 'rmt' was because they didnt exist anymore, our chocobos would dig up ridills, alla would be the home of intelligent and well organized information pertaining to the game, and brp wouldn't be made of douchebag.

I really don't look forward to Ruke's LJ updates;

I read them...well cause he's my best friend and I'm good like that! Though they are generally informative, Ruke and I have completely opposite job preferences in FFXI and therefore most of what he says in them I already know (from talking to him) or don't really care D: I do however have a tremendous amount of respect for the work he puts into them.

Whole thing basically makes him unavailable for 2-4 days with the whole process of posting and the flood of questions/comments and that sucks!

The ls places bets on day 1 as to how many comments he'll ultimately get for the update. ^^

i know... but considering back when i was getting my rng af, it was a jp onry job because most NAs couldn't afford it, having that kind of info out there was a godsend.
