I wasn't intending to fight them, I had no buffs up, I was trying to run past looking for the hoofprint. Wamoura + Prince link = dead taru.

I accidentally ran into one the other day, and I freaked out once I realized I had just blundered right in front of its eyes... but it ignored me and just turned in some other direction.

I know some mobs are short sighted, but I was literally in its face.

And speaking of Proboscis, I've seen it used but what does it do?

I've never had this happen to me, but I think Convert + Probiscus-as-you-are-curing-yourself would be awesomely entertaining. I must self-sacrifice to see this.
