FF7 remake to be announced?

I got tactics on my PSP, but I've only played it for a bit... battles are far too lengthy for my taste. (the 2nd battle in the game takes you like.... 20 minutes, I mean wtf?)

if SE is remaking the playstation ones its probably at sonys begging. As far as I have heard, SE wants to get as far away from sony as an exclusive developer as possible. They made asstons of money off of quality ports to the GBA/DS with nintendo and Im pretty sure they would love to make shit tons more money developing for all three consoles. FF13 is the last required FF game for the PS3, after that I bet you good money the remake announcement was for all 3 consoles so they can cash cow everything.

As much as I would love a remake to 9 or 7 in reality they're probably going to make another FF10 only this time you can dress tidus up as a singer.

When SE remakes FF7, you know theyre going under. They will only remake FF7 as a last ditch effort to gain money because they know everyone will buy it. I wouldnt be surprised if Sony is begging SE right now to remake FF7 on PS3. Probably the only reason FFT is being remade on the PSP is because Sony paid them off.

Holy crap someone here likes FF8 besides me. I do hope they keep the orginal music in FF8 it was the best music out of the hole series :D

Final boss fight music/s were the best heh, especially the fight with Ultimecia at the end when she turns into her final form.

"The Extreme" was awesome. It's usually in my top 5 favorite song. FF8 was a nice game overall, but it had some problem too. Personally, I thought the world felt too small compared to other FF, but other aspect of the game made up for it.

I wouldn't mind it as long as they didn't fuck with the story, extra missions and side quests would be nice, and maybe a bump up in difficultly would be awesome.

Ive just about had it with the "FF7 remake" things. If SE wanted to remake it they would have already, instead they have made: FF& Crisis core, Advent Children, and Dirge of Cerberus and I think another is due to come out in the next year or so. As much as I would like to play a remakre of FF7, what would really make me happy would be a legitimate FF7 on PSP or even DS. I know you can play an ISO copy with PSP but whenever I play it it comes out laggy as hell and I can't even get past the first reactor its so slow.

It'll probably be on PS3 store eventually. I don't see it being on the VC.
