That's why I like XS and Zelda, heh.Originally Posted by Kaylia

Ugh, when is this announcement supposed to happen anyways? It's already 12pm in Japan.
Damn SE taking their sweet time.![]()
8 was the first FF I played, still the best. Never really got into the whole 7 hype, not that it wasn't fun.
you sincerely missed out on the early days.Originally Posted by blister1
When FF6 came out in US as ff3 it had "mode 7 graphics" LOL
ala Stanley Cup for SNES.
FF6 and Trigger had the most amazing soundtracks...Originally Posted by Kaylia
FF6 music still brings back memories whenever I hear it. I'll probably buy the FF6 GBA port, just to play it on my gamecube gba player on the big tv.
I love to mix those 2 games soundtracks togeather and put it on shuffle/repeat. Also, Pleeeeeeeeeease make a FF8 Remake! If they put FF8 on PS3 w/ those graphic's I'd actually go buy it >.>;Originally Posted by Xavier
6 and 8 were my fave. I liked 7 for awhile since it was the first ff on the ps1 but never became a 'fanboy' for it besides well..tifa >_>bOriginally Posted by Mysterio
FF6 and 8 were favorites for me too. I hated the Draw System in 8, had no complaints about 6.
4 was really good, 5 was just kinda filler to me, maybe I'll go back and get the GBA port and see if its any better to me.
7 was awesome, but it was my first real RPG at the time so nostolgia probably plays a huge role.
9 was really well done, as was 10.
11 has consumed my life but it sucks. I'm still playing 12, but so far I really like the gameplay (even if its FF11-offline), and the story seems really good so far (but I read a lot of people got turned off by it, I'll see soon).
But yeah, where the hell is my Xenogears remake.
People got turned off of the FF12 story mainly because the language is far richer than it was in previous games... but I think it just makes it that much better.
The voice overs sound kind of choppy because they compressed them, but the overall quality of the actors is priceless.
Gameplay truly is FF11-offline though lol... but I like it better when I can control all the characters, rather than having a dumbass train you in the middle of an xp session.![]()
I love FF5's random battle song as well as Dancing Mad.
FFIX remake would make me purchase whatever console it was released on(as I currently own none). I loved FFIX the most.Favorite songs on FF9: Hunters challenge, You are not alone (esp the Tour De Japon orchestrated version) and alla flamenco or whatever its called lol.
Draw system would have been awesome if you woulnt spend a charge every time you use magic. Well, maybe limit the number of spell you can draw from the same mobs too. They way it currently is, you are forced to never use any magic (other than aura and meltdown)Originally Posted by Xavier
Personally, I loved FFXII story as it is, even if it kinda end too early. It had about the same plot progression as FF tactic I would say (that game also ended quickly/suddently, but wasnt bad at all)
XII and Tactics had stories that were more centered around conveying the world around you than the character based stories of 7 onwards. The majority of people who disliked XII for its story probably started FF in the PSX era.Originally Posted by Kaylia
My bros friend's PSP has Xenogears on it. We completely customized the loading screen for it lol. For a background it has the Elly painting, and then it has a intro paragraph and for an icon it has the xenogears logo. Then in addition it has the music box piano song playing in the loading screen. We even made the background fade to a much darker version when you click it. Its pretty awesome.Originally Posted by Exoduso
Yeah, you should see my loading screen for the various FF9 CDs lol... completely tricked out.Originally Posted by geno
I gotta buy a 2nd 4gig memory stick... not enough room for xenogears + FF7/8/9 + all the PSX remakes, heh.
SE can suck it, I'm keeping my gil.
