What I do is search for it on youtube, go into the RAW video links, since the search sucks on youtube, and check comments. People will say something like "episode 16 with subs in my profile" and just go in their profile and there you go.

Meh, if it's anything like the manga it goes downhill hard.

To me Deathnote ended after a certain event. I'm quite happy with it in that respect.

Personally, I thought the 2nd arc was about as nice as the first. There was some slow part early maybe, but it was still great, especially the ending.
One thing I didnt like is that most place happen in different place. japan vs USA and stuff like that. It's more fun when everyone is in the same room. Well, that an Mello is kinda annoying

Yea I had no self restraint and downloaded and watch entire manga in one day when I first watched the first episode of death note>__> lol

The current show is suposed to be 36 episodes long. However, at the rate they are going, first arc would end around 25, and 2nd around 50. They recently started chapter 5 out of 12, which is around 60% of the first arc, and 33% of the whole manga.

Well, I supose "action" scene near the end are going to be faster, since there is less talking in those, but something is still weird.

Or maybe they realize the second half of the manga is less popular, so they're going to speed it up. 23-24 eps to the end of the businessmen arc and 12-13 for the rest of it would be a good way to split it up imo. Especially since that puts the big halfway climax right around the same time single season shows are finishing.

There is 2 part, but I'm not sure the 2nd one was subbed. In any case, the movie was horrible with poor acting. I personally didnt like watching a butchered version of Death Note.

death note fails after "the big thing", it was decent to read i guess but it never got as good before it.
