It seems that the news from Iraq and Afghanistan (and the rest of the world for that matter) is getting worse and worse every day. Has it not occured(sic) to anybody that God is allowing the terrorists to strike out against many nations because of the liberal abortion laws.(sic: period there, in place of a question mark)
People hated Adolf Hitler for his evil deeds, but we have far outdone him in so many ways. The American Revolution, the Civil War, World Wars I and II (specifically that attack on Pearl Harbor) and 9/11 were all meant to be "wake-up calls." Apperantly(sic), we haven't woken up. What is it going to take for us to open our eyes to the evil all around us? We may be the "greatest nation on earth," but if we don change our ways soon, we may be relegated to the "trash heap of history" in due time.

This was printed in the editorials section of my friends' newspaper, and I'm still lol'ing.
