I just want more new 2D castlevania games that do not revolve around touch-based gimmicks.

PoR didn't really have a touch gimmick that forces you to use the touch feature did it? I played all the way through before I realized touching the screen even did anyhing.
I'm really too old fashioned for my own good. I like the touch games, that actually have to have touching in them to be played. Like Elite Beat Agents and OMG Cooking Mama. lol. But, when it comes to a game like Castlevania, I'd rather use my thumbs. I dunno, same thing goes for me and the Wii. I'd rather just play with a normal controller. Call me weird.![]()
looks gay lol

I'm still playing portrait of ruin, looking forward to SotN... and now this. Which reminds me, I have to finish ghouls and ghosts on PSP.
Yea this definitely does not want warrant a PSP purchase, remakes of games that I can get elsewhere (hai2u emulators) do not warrant a 250+ purchase (system+game).
It's funny you guys forget about Dawn of Sorrow so fast too, quite possibly the best Castlevania since SoTN.
With that said, what is the Dracula X for SNES like? It is another version of this Rondo of Blood correct?
No, the Dracula X on SNES was a piss poor attempt to make a "sequel" of Dracula X Rondo of Blood. The story was quasi the same but id say 90% of the rest of the game was completely different. It was Konami's initial attempt to ease the cries of gamers that wanted to play RoB.
Ive tried to find any way necassary to play Rondo of Blood and the closest I saw was pirated versions of the game. I still would have had to get a PC Engine to play it.
Is there PC Engine emulators?
Shit I was just happy with SoTN coming out on xbox marketplace sometime soon, but it just makes that dusty PSP (I lost all my PS ff games and xenogears... ;_; shit I should look that up) But it makes me wonder if they're going to force you to update to PSP V4.0 or whatever >_>;;
Of course they are. If you want to play FF Tactics and RoD no more emulating for joo.
No there are not PC engine emulators that I know of.
Truth! Currently playing Earthbound and Bahamut Dragoon on mine.Originally Posted by Exoduso
Oh you KNOW they will, but once they do... it would just be a matter of time before the update is cracked for Devhook, and then a bit later customized. So... it is going to be a neverending cycle until DAX gets tired of doing it. =POriginally Posted by Misterjingles
The start of SotN is the end of Rondo no?
Wii virtual console has TurboGrafx-16, that's pretty close right?Originally Posted by Tekki
Yeah, pretty close =P
The PC-Engine is a video game console first released in Japan by NEC on October 30, 1987. The system was released in late August, 1989 as TurboGrafx-16 for the North American market
But time is something we don't have!! With the moonites attacking we are fucked. F U C K E D D: Well, just about 7 more months to enjoy the emulation goodness on the PSP then :DOriginally Posted by Graelinn
