Three times. I kept hoping it would be fun again. I dont deny that, but look at that - it still sucked, and the content ID canceled yet again.

And to those that say out of 400,000 players, at least one is capable of accomplishing the same feats I am, you probably don't know what you're talking about. I'm not saying I'm a "leet hackzor," I've actually never broken in to a system that doesn't belong to me. But I do know my way around Windows programming, and happen to be exceptionally talented in the field of reverse engineering. If you think hundreds of other people are capable of the same accomplishments, I point only to the fact that ProjectXI team (Read: myself) broke the encryption only a day after I joined the development team. (And subsequently left when tinytaru leaked it.)

Lots of people know their way around windows programming and are talented in the field of reverse engineering. You understimate statistics, there are more low level programmers out there than you think. Just because nobody (that you know about) broke it doesn't mean nobody was capable of breaking it, it more likely means nobody really tried. Also, afaik Cliff was the first NA to break it. It's possible other Japanese players have as well that hang in different circles and you aren't aware of.

Wafik, I don't tend to agree with you much, but we're peas in a pod when it comes to people crying "ffxi is dead."

Let's just turn this thread into an epic ffxi love-fest. Because think about it: 2 BG threads led to the game being improved, in some way. Was that the intent from the get-go? Nah, not really. But I guess its at least refreshing to see that SE is starting to pay attention to it's smartest community.

There's a board right here : http://www.theorderls.com and I'm sure you can all gather together and bash FF everytime you do a raid, and keep complaining about FF even though you play WoW now and for some reason you can't seem to move on with your virtual lives, but on this board we live and breathe Final Fantasy, and we like it despite it's flaws.

Threads that are griefed will be locked. This doesn't apply to playful lighthearted banter, rather to intentional successful derailment of serious discussion. Repetitive quoting of a quote, excessive off-topic anti-topic posting, and other things of that nature will lead to a thread lock. Necroposting (posting on a thread over a week old without adding anything substantial to the discussion) will result in immediate banning. Being primarily FFXI gaming forums, repetitive comparisons to other MMOs with the intent of causing conflict is not acceptable.

Completely aside response;

Radio doesnt work on common sense. It works on ratings. Our ratings have gone up, in fact sky rocketed, with our 7am to 9pm line up of talk shows. Opie and Anythony are syndicated, as well as kidd chriss - nationwide and bring a huge fanbase to our table.

That all aside, I do miss the day time rock music when Im at my day job with Coors, cause I drive around ALL over south jersey every day. Im in my company car for 8 hours and my ipod is getting old (oops, I mean...when im not loyally listening to the Barsky show on WYSP! 9am to 1pm weekdays on free fm! lol...)


Besides, it pays 40 an hour as a part time job. I dont care if they play fucking rap all day, as long as it keeps paying my bills.

I actually wasn't going to post anything about it, but I felt obligated to Gandorf since he gave me his account, so I PMed him the picture. Note that I didn't post the picture in the thread. He then chose to post the picture in the thread which defeated the whole purpose of me PMing to to him in the first place.
