I don't know but I think what you are supposed to be noticing is that on each server, someone named "tempxxx" is buying loads of coral. Tempfai on fairy, tempcer on cerberus, tempcar on carbuncle, tempdia on diabalos....see the pattern? they made a mule on every server to buy up coral and make RR pins or some shit I don't know.

On Cerberus at least, Tempcer is a seller of coral, not a buyer.

Not per se, however most of the zones mentioned are also the primary coral fragment zones that fishbots hang out at.

But that doesn't prevent RMTs, or even legit fishers, from producing more coral.

Let's hope SE tweaks where you can get it. A few pieces here and there from BCNM and limited choco digging won't cover everyone's RR needs. :/

It says "yield" bro. They probably put a cap on how many you can get per day IRL. 6-12 per day would effectively maul profits from Coral.

Couldn't that also mean they've changed the various catch rates on different catches, e.g. nerfed the return rate on Black Sole as opposed to other items (meaning they didn't change the amount of "fatigue" you get from making catches)?

I'm not a fisher, I could be missing something obvious.

The only things found there are Rusty Leggings and Coral Fragments. They say that they adjusted the fishing yields on certain items, so that indicates to me that they adjusted the rate at which certain items will "bite" on the line ... it would have nothing to do with fatigue.

Given that Rusty Leggings aren't on the list of nerfed recipes (and there's no real reason for them to be), I conclude that they nerfed the catch rate on Coral Fragments.

I've always wished the same thing. Looking at other MMOs' patch notes, a lot of them give very specific details about the changes that are made ... sometimes even giving exact numbers regarding the changes that would be relevant to damage equations.

At least this time they actually said what they did instead of ninja updating or stating something so ambiguous that it is completely worthless.

No I mean I wish they would just flat out say it. "we changed the rate at which you catch coral in this zone. You will catch fewer now, as it is a much rarer item" or something. I want them to say specificially HOW they changed it but they love to do the vague bullshit and dance around everything. I like trying to figre things like salvage out but when they dance around some of the basic things it's just fucking annoying.
