Dahak loot table

Somepage says Dahaks (red dragons in Mt. Z) can drop dragon bloods and hearts; but I've yet to see them drop anything besides dark crystals. Anyone seen these drops?

I saw another thread about this on Alla or KI because I was thinking about trying them too. A couple people chimed in and said they had tried farming and didn't get any of the items listed on somepage either.

I've killed maybe a dozen, they drop good gil (like 1k each in a duo) but never got anything but darks and seals.

It's a level 84 Alchemy Desynth

It's a normal synth w.r.t break and hq rate afaik.

I've killed tons of these (make a nice chain5 with blm trio or chain2~3 duo) ... never seen them drop anything other than dark crystals and seals as well.

If they do drop it.. it's really rare.

Killed 20-25 here, nothing either. I would rather farm ifrit cauldron's bat for blood if I needed it than those dragon. Drop rate is probably similar

pretty bad drop rate even with th4. I tried farming and went like 1/25. Not worth the effort, better to just farm rattling eggs for Tarasque.

Dragon's Heart -> Dragon's Blood is a normal synth using a lightning crystal. It's not a desynth, so the chances of a fail aren't as high.

You have much to learn, the way ffxi works is if you stop the next 4 mobs wouod have dropped! Thats why I always farm untill I get alot of stuff (aka I went 0 damp eyes in 2 hrs then 5 the 3rd hour)

Without TH4 its horrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrible. I used to XP my BST down there from like 68-72 before CoP. In the four levels of xping off of bats and bombs, I've gotten a single dragon blood. Yet to see a tarasque egg either so my luck just blows.
